anthroplogie pillow knock off

Last week I confessed my love for the Anthropologie Dianthus Tile Pillow and also my
sincere apology that the $168 price tag wasn't going to work for me, so...

Here's my version...

I forgot to mention the size of the pillow was 18 x 45,
making the price a tad more palatable.  But I knew I could do it for a fraction.

THEIRS

MINE

Mine measures 14 x 40
I used 1/2 yard of K - Odessa (Fuschia) found here
and 3/8 yard of Dwell Studio Bella Porte (Brindle)
my total cost was $21.00 for both pillows .
I purchased the fabric locally at Denver Fabrics.

I remembered I had the burlap coffee bags from years ago and did a happy dance
when I saw the pink printing!

I think the smaller one would look nice on my black bench across the room,
but until I find something else I like the bold pink pops right there.

If you missed the pink lamp before and after check it our here or
the diy leopard tray go here.

And, to one of my favorite people in the whole world,
Happy Birthday, Mom!
I LOVE YOU!!!

anthro-a-pologie...

Anthro-a-pologie

define: an.thro.a.pol.o.gie

An acknowlegement expressing regret that Anthropologie's prices and my budget
aren't compatible, therefore, forcing me to 'knock-off' their beautiful pillow.

My next diy...

Anthropologie's Dianthus Tile Pillow  $168
(if your budget is a fit you can find it here)

Here are the goods for my version of the pillow....

...and I'll be adding a few other surprise pops of pink to my neutral decor!

Stop by on Friday to see the details of a transformed IKEA piece that will be included!

Thank you sweet friends for reading and inspiring me!
I LOVE blogging and sharing my projects with you!
