anthro-a-pologie...

Anthro-a-pologie

define: an.thro.a.pol.o.gie

An acknowlegement expressing regret that Anthropologie's prices and my budget
aren't compatible, therefore, forcing me to 'knock-off' their beautiful pillow.

My next diy...

Anthropologie's Dianthus Tile Pillow  $168
(if your budget is a fit you can find it here)

Here are the goods for my version of the pillow....

...and I'll be adding a few other surprise pops of pink to my neutral decor!

Stop by on Friday to see the details of a transformed IKEA piece that will be included!

Thank you sweet friends for reading and inspiring me!
I LOVE blogging and sharing my projects with you!

Very cool idea to knock off Anthropologie. I just ordered another one of their paper mache animal heads to add to my living room, but they are about the only things I find reasonably priced in their home goods line. If I could afford all their stuff my entire house would scream Anthropologie, but alas, I too am on a budget. Look forward to seeing the finished reveal!

Lol! Love the store but a little pricey sometimes. Wow! The pillow DIY is impressive. The pinks will look pretty against your neutrals!

I love your fabric choices. I think they are much prettier than the Anthropology pillow. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Creative definition too!

Mr. Simple and Detail Boy okay with all that pink? I'm sure they will be when they see you work your magic! BTW, who in their right mind would pay $168 for a pillow???

You have great taste, lady! Love all your projects....and I adore the necklace you have on in your profile pic!

Their prices drive me crazy. And they only offer 10% off to designers. Really? Like they can't do 20% and still make a killing? Makes me mad. So I'm loving this knockoff!

HA! I LUV THAT! I do my own versions of my favorite anthro items all the time. I feel a tiddly bit bad about it but I just can think of so many more ways to spend my hard earned moolah. I just love the aesthetics in there so much. Great pillow!
