My Five Favorites ~ Fabric

We're focusing on Fabric this month for My Five Favorites,
and clearly my post should be titled My Five Favorite Black & White Fabrics!
I knew I liked black and white, but didn't realize how often it shows up in my decor.
It's a great neutral that mixes effortlessly with other colors and patterns,
whether classic, graphic or dramatic. I'm anxious to see if it shows up on my blogging
pals' lists of favorites as well.

I'm excited to welcome our guest this month, Sarah @ Life on Virginia Street.
She just shared her beautiful Summer Home Tour yesterday, it's perfectly serene and filled
with pretty beachy hues, you'll definitely want to visit. Don't miss the progress on her
  stunning new pool too!
I think I'd like to vacation there!

#1
Ralph Lauren - Zebra Print

This is a new favorite, and I can't wait to find a way to include it in my house!
We recently used Ralph Lauren's Tangiers Zebra - Ebony for my client's chair reupholster,
and love the timeless yet chic feel.

#2
IKEA - Sofia Black & White Stripe

A classic wide black and white stripe at an amazing price $7.99/yard,
100 % cotton, and a nice heavier weight similar to duck cloth.
I used it as table runners for a wedding, it would make great pillows, too.

My nephew's pretty peach wedding.

#3
Nate Berkus - Tolo Coal

Nate Berkus can do no wrong in my book, and I chose this print for my kitchen valances
and backs of barstools in my kitchen update.
I shared several patterns from Nate's fabric collection in this post.

#4
Nate Berkus - Akis Noir

Another Nate favorite! This timeless Greek Key print is done in a rich raised velvet
and totally worth the splurge.  I used it in my client's master bedroom makeover.

#5
Canadian Fox Faux Fur

I always get asked where my luxurious throw is from.
I'll share my secret...it's faux fur fabric from a local fabric store, Colorado Fabrics.
It sells for about $50/yard, a yard and a half makes a nice size throw.

Don't miss these ladies' My Five Favorites:
