Are you anxious as I am to start planting your pots? I thought it would be fun to include
a conversation piece on the patio.
I haven't committed to anything yet, but these clever ideas have me thinking
outside of the box pot!

Oh, I don't think I could sacrifice that chair to set it outside, but doesn't it look fantastic? And how many baskets do I have lying around that would be lovely filled with flowers? Thanks for the creative ideas!
I love the red tool box and the rain boots had me at Hello! So clever! With all of the warm weather that we have had across the country, I am ready to plant right now too!
What a brilliant way of adding a bit of humour and character to your garden (and using up an old piece of furniture). I am particularly in love with the idea of using a wonky, brightly painted chest of drawers to add flower pots to! Oh yes, and the moss chair is priceless!
The typewriter made me laugh, but I am with you on the favourite. They are all so pretty though, and a lot of fun.
I love using unusual "vessels" for plantings...just this past week I started putting a group of planters on my deck and while they are all your typical pots I did put some succulents in an old colander (sp?) that I tried spray painting but it was an epic fail so I'm going to put some plants in it....
Love all your inspiration pics.

How fun is this post??? Oh my goodness. I saw that boot one last year and was wishing so badly that I had kept my kids' colorful little rubber boots from times gone by! So, so cute especially for the backyard. Thanks for sharing all these fun ideas and hope you have a wonderful weekend, Pam!
There's a flea market this weekend that I'd love to find something fun for our yard. I've also committed to adding a window box to our porch too (I hope). It needs something.
Thanks for all these fun ways to display plants in the yard. I have an old chair that I set a pot on.
Have a great weekend.
I have no doubt you could pull off any of these looks. You and your green thumb...slightly disgusting. (I say that with love!)
What great ideas for an outside element! I guess my favorite has to be the rubber boots. They are just adorable.

I think your effort will be classy no matter what you do! Happy WEekend, Pam

Pam,
I just love this post! It's still rainy here in Seattle :( This is the most difficult time for me because I am SOOO ready to garden, however the ground is still cold and muddy. I've been buying lots of flowers for inside and working on an urn that sits by my front door. Thanks for all these great ideas.

That chair is amazing! It's our favorite too - with the pink dresser right behind it!

Such fun and pretty photos, Pam. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
Have a fun weekend.
Yes, I have begun thinking about planting my pots with all this unusually beautiful weather, but my good sense tells me to wait until Mother's Day, after the chance of frost has passed. The tonka truck planters would be great for people with young children.
I LOVE the 'plant' chair. I couldn't find it on tumblr....would you re-post with a link...that would be soooo wonderful.
Blessings!
beautiful pictures! so happy I found your blog!!

Yes! Actually just this morning I wondered if it was too early to plant my pots. That dump truck turned planter is such a cute idea :)
Those are some pretty cool ideas! i love the bottom one too - I wanted to crawl in my computer screen and sit in that chair!
Cool ideas! I love the rubber boots. I can't believe someone thought of that.
Warmly, Michelle
Oh my gosh! Some of these ideas are going to be spouting up in my yard!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Blessings,
Donna
