I'm a good news first type...
Here's a diy that will take you about 10 minutes max!
I made it on Easter morning.
I printed 'Count your Blessings' out on my printer and inserted it
into a frame!
I saw this piece on my friend Lisa's blog, Shine Your Light, here, last week.
She shared a scary incident that could easily happen to any of us,
and how grateful she was for the outcome.
(I'm not sure of the original source, there are several versions on google and Pinterest)
This is on a small wall in my kitchen.
I made the shelf a couple of years ago with an old board I found in
our garage and brackets from Hobby Lobby.
It's a fun spot to include seaonal touches, I brought the tulips in from our yard.
The bad news...
and the reason I made something to make me feel good.
No kitchen artwork reveal today.
So far it has turned into a diy gone bad,
I'll see if I can rescue it today and share the

Good things usually come out of hitting a brick wall. It makes you think outside of the box. You can do it, friend! I love the blessings art. What a great daily reminder.
Pam, it's horrible when good DIY goes bad. Good luck rescuing it! And thank you for being a "half-full" sort of person. The world needs more of them. :) Liz
Sorry about your kitchen art! I know you'll turn it around. Hope you had a lovely easter and spring break. Have a great week ahead.

I love the 'count your blessings' print. That is so cool. Sorry for the DIY gone wrong. But I know you will fix it somehow! You have a talent - it shows ine everything you've done so I have full confidence you will make this one work too! We all have some 'flops' along the way :)
I am definitely going to copy your Blessings art! What a wonderful thing to do on Easter morning. Thanks for sharing it, Pam.
I love that you even made your own shelf! That is so very "Pam"!
Pam, I love the BLESSINGS art! Would a wonderful reminder to be thankful.
Thanks for stopping by today and leaving the sweet comment.
Enjoy your day!

Pam I love that you framed that Count Your Blessings print! It looks great in your kitchen and is such a great reminder! Bummer about your other art project but I know you will make it fabulous!
Hope you and your family had a great Easter :)
Your print is so sweet and the simple vignette you created on your shelf is very pretty! I guess you experienced why it's called DIY and not ACOP (Always Comes Out Perfect)!
I adore this print and it's such a good reminder! Looks great!
That is honest blogging and I'm curious to hear what happened - I'm sure it will turn out for the best. I actually was thinking to myself that I bet Pam went with a Plan C for the kitchen artwork. But on the brighter side, the count your blessings artwork is really cute. I might need to do something like this too as I am so fortunate and blessed in so many ways.
Thank you so much for you comments! I feel so badly that with Easter and family in town, I've been too busy to respond. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things very soon and catch up on my favorite blogs!! Hope you had a great Easter!

Good luck with the rescue!
DIY gone bad? I'm intrigued (it is so rare that we get to see the down and dirty parts of a DIY gone wrong.) Please share!
What a nice grouping! I love the mix of the rustic shelf with the bit of modern touch on the frame, and of course the gorgeous tulips!
I absolutely adore this and with the gold corners...breathtaking! Think I need this print ASAP. Sorry to hear there were some bumps in the road with the kitchen art.
That is a pretty shelf, Pam. It is perfect for changing around meaningful pieces seasonally, monthly, weekly or whenever one chooses. I like the artwork you picked and I did read Lisa's scary story last week.
