My Pink Living Room & An Amazing Paint Color Resource

Change is in the air! :)
You guys know I'm a pink girl, I jumped on the Radiant Orchid trend a couple years ago,
last year my Christmas Tour had pops of pink, it showed up in my
Christmas Tour in 2014, and I've used it in several of my clients' homes. It should
come as no surprise that I have a crush on Blush, and the soft pretty hue would make an
appearance in our home, in some form, at some point. I could have added simple Blush
pillows to my neutral decor, but I've been captivated by rooms bathed in this delicate color.
So, a couple days ago I went for it...with the blessing of my boys.
Benjamin Moore's Queen Anne Pink was the winner.
I'm completely smitten, I stare at it like a mama with a newborn baby! Haha!

I knew it was going to be tough to narrow down the perfect Blush, but it proved
to be even trickier than I thought. I did so much research comparing colors on Pinterest
to samples on my different paint decks to the samples on the wall, and reading blogs that
claimed to have found the 'perfect blush color.' I truly spent hours and hours.
It was worth every minute, and in the end I found the most incredible resource which
led me to Benjamin Moore's Queen Anne Pink.

I narrowed it down to Farrow & Ball's Pink Ground, it got rave reviews,
and had the exact look I was going for, BUT there aren't any F & B retailers
in Colorado and it's $100/ gallon. If you're not familiar, Farrow & Ball is
known among designers for its unmatched depth of color and ingredients.
I was on a mission to find the closest match when I came across this amazing
resource from Laurel @ Laurel Home.
using real samples from both companies!
Thank you, Laurel!
Head over to her awesome blog, filled with tons of invaluable information, for a
clearer picture of the in-depth chart below, also please pin from her site here

I'll be sharing more of the room for a Fall Home Tour very soon.
Yikes, I have no idea what I'm putting with this or how it's going to transition to fall!

Blush pink is one of my very favorites, too! I can't wait to see your finished room. It will be stunning, I'm sure! Thanks for the Farrow & Ball color matches, too. Pinning for reference!

Most Benjamin Moore stores can match Farrow and Ball colors, just ask them. You won't be the first.

Going pink in my living room this weekend with Benjamin Moore Soft Shell. It was very, very hard to find the right color and I still have my fingers crossed.

Looks great, as always! I wonder how that color would look in a powder room.

Hi Pam,

Thanks so much for linking to my post. I'm so flattered! Love the pink and I didn't realize it until a few years ago. And by the way, Queen Anne Pink is in the Laurel Home Paint Collection!

Well, aren't you smart?? You solved your color dilemma! LOVE it and can't wait to see it all! My mom had the living room painted a faint pink for years and years and it was the best color. She painted a neutral over it a few years ago and I think she still misses it!
