Hi friends, thanks so much for stopping by to check out our Christmas Home Tour,
and welcome if you're new to Simple Details!
If you've been following along I don't have to tell you how fabulous the
12 Days of Christmas Tour of Homes
has been, if not, pop in and see what you've missed, these ladies are amazing!
Day 1 - Jenny @ Evolution of Style
Day 2 - Amanda @ Amanda Carol Interiors
Day 3 - Amanda @ Dixie Delights
For our Christmas decor this year I used mostly what I had from previous years,
but switched it all up and brought in some fun colors, pink and green, for a fresh look.
Our front porch...
Our entry...
Earlier this year I gave our entry some pizazz with this stencil that
looks like the popular pricey wallpaper.
our living room...
So you guys know I LOVE Craigslist, that's my hutch I made over, and the
coffee table I scored in the summer, and my $10 garage sale chair I rescued.
I gave my old wreath a big update ~ three pink bulbs. :)
I bought a couple great textured pillows when this stylish blogger offered them
for sale on her blog one day, and mixed in others I already had.
I stole the tree stump from Detail Boy's room, and he wants it back.
The white campaign dresser, another Craigslist find works perfectly for a bar
during the holidays. Do you remember the mirror from the One Room Challenge
bedroom? Well, we decided it was more my taste than hers and guess what?
I love it! Can you have too many mirrors, I'm sure I'm over doing it.
I found 'It's beginning to look a lot like cocktails' napkins, after I decided
on the theme for my girlfriend party, and sent out these fun invites,
and they were pink!
My DIY framed batik fabric miraculously tied in with my lively pink and green,
I really had no idea how I was going to make those work with Christmas decor.
One little Target pillow did it!
our dining room...
I've seen all those popular striped candles lately and was just about ready to diy some
with spray paint when I remembered this striped wrapping paper I had, done!
It was just what those traditional candlesticks needed.
The poinsettia pillow was a Pottery Barn Knock Off a couple years ago.
our christmas tree...
I've always loved flocked trees, and we're so happy with this one from Walmart!
our family room and our girl, rio...
To give us a fresh look I bought pink and green ornaments and made new
pillows, have I ever mentioned how much I love our neutral background?
I had completely forgotten, last year I bought fur to make us new stockings but it never
made it to the top of my list, this year it did! Do you guys know that Home Depot has
a Black Friday deal every year - that 22" wreath - $5, and 15' of garland - $5!
Mark your calendars for next November so you don't forget.
our kitchen...
Can I tell you how much I enjoy my bright white kitchen since the
One Room Challenge makeover earlier this year! A lot!
When I was doing the ORC I considered getting rid of our chalkboard because it
didn't seem too chic and fresh, but I decided to keep and I'm so glad I went with my gut
on that one, it's always fun to have a message on it.
I thought my Grandma's vintage ornaments would be safe and cute on this
covered cake plate.
I'm still loving our Formica Calacatta Marble countertop.
I gave my planter head guy some festive evergreens and pine cones,
he's from Homegoods, check in the spring in the garden section.
My glass jar from a friend is filled with gold and silver bells.
our bathroom...
Last but not least, our bathroom that got a new coat of dark charcoal paint recently.
I had to show you this cool arrangement a friend brought me, the stems are
going through the decorative balls and how fun is the bow out of greenery?
Wow, that was one wordy Christmas tour!
Thanks so much for visitng and if you'd like to check out last year's Christmas tour I
think it's all pics with nary a word! :) Here.
If you'd like, check out my Instagram here.
Tomorrow's tour is one of the blogsophere's sweetest,
the lovely Lisa @ Shine Your Light, didn't she do an awesome job on our graphics?
I can't wait to see what creative goodness she's been up to at her house!

Pam, your home looks absolutely stunning! I love every detail! I'm still cleaning mine trying to get it ready for decorations. I'm also going to check Home Depot today just out of curiosity.
Pam, I love the pink!!!!! It's the perfect cheerful holiday color to spread around a neutral home, your whole house looks so joyful with that one accent color! SO many pretty details but a few that I particularly adore: the pink wrapping paper with leopard ribbon, your huge bowl on the coffee table with ornaments and greens, and your gorgeous new furry stockings!!! All the details make it, what a happy and sophisticated Christmasy home, thank you for sharing it!
Your whole house is gorgeous. All the decorations flow beautifully from room to room. Love those pillows in the family room too.
Loving the pink!! Everything looks amazing!
Gorgeous and fun...loving the pinks sprinkled here and there!!

Beautiful!!! Pam, you always knock it out of the park - I love every little detail!!
I love the variety of your decor each year with just a few changes here and there! Your pink and green is so fresh and fun, and each room is so festive! Trying not to have jealousy issues over all of your amazing CL pieces... great decision on adding the mirror over the campaign dresser! OK, I don't recognize the settee that I see a peek of by your Christmas tree, are you holding out on us? ;)

Your house looks GORGEOUS! I can't even pick a favorite because it all looks so great. I am still so giddy envious about that coffee table find of yours, and I still think that poinsettia pillow is one of the best ever DIY pillows I've seen. So many things over the years you have found or updated and seen here, just beautiful!!
Your home is striking!!!! All your Craigslist pieces look amazing!
I kind of hate you just a little cause of all the wonderful CL finds:) Your home looks great....hope you will be entertaining this season so everyone can see it!
Absolutely stunning Pam! I am always so amazed how you have such CL karma! Everything is so beautiful and so many great detals. I love your garland at the top of your cabinet and love the pops of pink mixed in your tree and throughout. Just so festive and warm! Thank you so much for opening your home Pam and sharing with us. Cheers!
It's all so fabulous, and everything fits right in with your rest-of-the-year decor. You, my dear, are a master stylist!!
I love the pink and green color combo, Pam, and how well it flows with your whole house! So, so pretty!
Pam,
I just adore what you do! Every last thing! You're an inspiration with your creativity, and generous with your sharing. Because of you, I have had the courage to comb CL relentlessly, just knowing that something will pop up. Happy Holidays...
Sharon
The pink and green are fresh and pretty. Love the shot with the tree, Rio and the bright pillows on the white sofas. And the stocking are so simple and chic.

GORGEOUS Pam!!
It all looks so beautiful (and I can't believe you got that tree at Walmart, LOVE that!)...thank you for all the inspiration. I have that same pink and gold wrapping paper leftover from my daughter's room (Homegoods?), what a fabulous idea to use it on the candles. Happy, happy holidays!
XO, Amy

Finally getting to your house tour and of course it's gorgeous! I love it all! Your style is so fabulous Pam! Can't wait to see some photos of the kitchen!
I am so searching for natural fiber rugs. Can you share where you got yours that your dog Rio is lying on in your family room , exactly what rug is it and oh is it seagrass ? I so love your home and Christmas decor. Subscribing to your blog now. So glad to discover it.
Absolutely perfect!!! Loving all the hits of hot pink!
Pam - Love, love, love your holiday home! Everything turned out beautifully! I'm so jealous of your Craigslist finds...especially that gorgeous coffee table. Happy holidays to you and your family! :) Kim

Nailed it my dear! I'm ready to come over and celebrate with you. :) You do such a wonderful job of blending your already beautiful home with just the right touch of Christmas. And how did I not know about the Home Depot black friday sale?! I am going to have to remember that one for sure. XO
I'm catching up on all the home tours. Pam, your home is gorgeous!! I love all your touches of greenery and pops of color. You also give the best tips. Great job!
All so stunning! I've said this about your kitchen before, but I LOVE it. Just my style :)
Everything is beautiful and enjoyed touring your holiday home.
Patty@thatssopretty
Your home looks so festive and beautiful...
Thanks for the tip about the $5 Home Depot wreath. I will have to remember that for next year. My favorite detail of your Christmas decorating is the over-sized bowl with ornaments on the coffee table. It is the perfect touch.
Love your tree! You have a gorgeous home! And those pretty pink and green ornaments are so festive. Not to mention the leopard wrapping!! SO cute.
Pam~ everything looks so beautiful! So many lovely touches everywhere. I love the PB poinsettia pillow so much and pinned it for next year. I made some last year, but they were more like holly wreaths. Love your flocked tree and pretty mantle, too. Enjoyed your tour, friend! xo
I love your touches of pink, too! You have the best sense of style!
