Hey everyone, hope you had a fabulous weekend, we're in full holiday mode
over here, parties, shopping and enjoying our decor, that is done ~ woo hoo! It's always a
tad hectic (actually total chaos) to get it done early, but so worth it to have it
finished and be able to enjoy it. It motivates me to invite everyone over, we had my
parents on Sunday to watch the Broncos and I made this delicious copycat soup
that's one of my dad's favorites ~ yum, you definitely need to try it!
My friends are always asking me to post ideas early enough that they can use
them, and I don't have my neighbor gifts ready to go for this year, but I thought
you might like to steal an idea from a past year. Click on the title for the detailed post.
You guys know it's all in the presentation, so the little details are a must! :)
Each family received a block of Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip cookie dough,
ready to bake now or freeze for cookies when the mood strikes or guests appear!
I loved the jar resembling a beehive and also included a cute dish towel,
with the warm biscuits.
The Ikea Borby lanterns are a great useful container, I tucked in a simple DIY
personalized Ikea dish towel and a box of their cookies.

Oh those ideas are fabulous Pam!! The cookie dough one is perfect, I would love to receive that and so I think I will do that for my neighbors this week! I was going to take the easy way out and do make gifts we saw on Pinterest - a box of Ho Hos and a box of Ding Dongs with a note that says "Ho Ho Ho and Merry Christmas from the Ding Dongs next door!", my kids think this is the most hilarious idea ever but I don't know if I can bring myself to do it! Liking your pretty ideas much better! :)
Such great ideas, Pam! I always struggle with what to get our neighbors. Your ideas are very practical and I'm sure they would truly enjoy something homemade!
You're always such a generous friend/neighbor. I bet they look forward to your gift every year!
You always come up with the best gifts! That homemade cookie dough is my favorite - I just love how you packaged it!
You are so gifted! Your gifts and presentations are one of my favorite things. Still waiting for a house in your neighborhood to go on the market!

I agree with Jennifer, you have the best gift ideas ever. I want the cooke dough please!
I wish I was your neighbor Pam! Not just for your awesome and thoughtful gifts but for the impeccable advise you'd be giving me about home decorating!!!!! I know your neighbors are so pleased with all go these, I know I will! I'm horrible at neighbor gifts, I usually just give store-bought goodies. :-(
