awesome blossom...

Hey everyone, hope you had a wonderful weekend, we're blanketed in
snow again. I'm patiently waiting for our trees to blossom, one of my favorite things
about spring is the view from my kitchen window when they're bursting with blooms.
I love bringing in a huge bucket of blooming branches, but these will have to do
for another week or so...

I'm absolutely using this one as inspiration for my spring mantel refresh!

Do you have trees in bloom? I know if I didn't I'd be at a neighbor's door
with a plate of cookies in one hand and my pruners in the other! :)

Yes Pam, I have booms! My plum tree is blooming right now and I'm looking forward to eating them. It may be a while, but it's wonderful to watch them grow! I have lemon, orange, and limes blooming too. I love the smell....

We are late to bloom 'round these parts….the crocuses are just pushing their way up out of the ground now. We'll have to wait another month or so for flowering trees but I am waiting for them with great anticipation…..please share your lovely mantel o'blooms when it happens!

My forsythia isn't even popping yet … living near Lisa … it is a LONG run up in these parts!!! xo

I adore this time of spring when the buds are out, and it only seems to last a few weeks here. My hyacinth are just starting, but I love all of them. Simple arrangements turn out to be spectacular with budding branches! Happy week ( and good luck with that kitchen!) xo Nancy

I love this natural look. We've had lots of good blooms recently but are expecting near freezing temps in the morning. Agghh...time to bust out the plant covers! Everything's so confused.

Beautiful! Our redbud is blooming but that's the only pretty one we have to cut from. I love them but haven't figured out how to keep them for more than a few days...

Our Shower-of-Orchids vine blossoms this time of year. We have it planted by the front door so it greets you every time you come home.

Love these Pam, especially that last one. I have been cutting branches from the yard here but nothing flowering yet, just palms and fresh leaves to perk up each room. I am offering a giveaway for the first time, something I think you would like and would love for you to win as you are the sweetest blogger I know! A little striped French makeup bag that would be fun to tuck in your bag. Have great week!

Love the idea of bringing in branches from the yard! I had them all over last year and then.....discovered my head ache and ear infection was a result. :(

I've made some flower "branch" arrangements with blooms from our bradford pear tree. They have an odd scent sometimes, but look great!

Wow, beautiful inspiration. I don't have any flowering trees on my property unfortunately. Makes me want to make a trip to the nursery :-)

I do have a dogwood currently in full bloom and I need to get out there and collect a few branches for my kitchen table!

We've got no blooms yet but I keep waiting and watching - shouldn't be too much longer, right! Love the inspiration! When I've got flowers and blooming branchings from our yard in vases all over the house is when it really starts to feel like spring!
