best source for hooks & knobs

Functional and Stylish = Perfection in my book!
I was looking to purchase a couple of heavy duty hooks recently and feel in love
with these rustic over sized pieces from Restoration Hardware:

But I wanted two and $84 wasn't in my budget for hooks!
I came upon these at my favorite source, Hobby Lobby, for a crazy $2 each!
Although smaller than RH's they're still a generous size (5" x 7")
and have a great sturdy feel.
And, if we wanted hooks that color we know how to dab some gold and brown paint on
them, add a little rub 'n buff and wipe it around, right?

What I don't do for you guys, lining these up on the floor at Hobby Lobby and taking photos
of them! I tried to get the price tags for you - hooks, pulls, handles and knobs
are ALWAYS 50% off, every single day!

Just a small preview of what is available.

Mind-boggling selection...

I couldn't bring myself to make you endure another photo of detail boy's room
(you're welcome!) before the final reveal,
but they're on the wall in there and I'd highly recommend them if you need heavy duty hooks.
Tomorrow I'll show you the pretty disgusting dumpster dive I talked Mr. Simple into
wheeling home for me.
Hint...it will be requiring 18 knobs, pulls or handles of some sort... :)

Love these knobs and hooks. I wish I lived closer to hobby lobby, but am thinking I'm going to need to do an online order :)

Who knew? I did not know about Hobby Lobby, just went to their site and sure enough, one is within a 20 min drive. Very similar to Anthro knobs as well. Good tip Pam!

My nearest Hobby Lobby is an hour away into NY state.. Might be worth the ride though, I can't believe how large their selection is!
Thanks for the tip Pam!

I've probably been to Hobby Lobby 100 times before and I never even noticed their selection of hooks and knobs. What a great find Pam! I've heard they have named the Framing Department after you!

Hobby Lobby is always my first stop when I'm looking for knobs! You seriously can't beat the prices, and they have some totally unique and awesome ones!

Hobby Lobby is the one store we have near us...amazing. MC cuts the coupon out of the Sunday paper every week.
We need some new pulls for his wall unit. What better place to start the search?
Did I tell you that when I wanted new knobs for our kitchen I went to a Custom Kitchen Cabinet shop. They had a huge amount left over from jobs. I had an "Epiphany" and found 40 different ones. Went to the clerk and asked the price....his reply....just take them...Our kitchens from that moment on (that was 10 years and 5 homes ago) have had different knobs on every cabinet.....saved the builder knobs and put them back up when the house goes on the market. Quite a look! Makes everyone smile...they aren't surprised, they know I'm a little "nuts"!

I wish I had a Hobby Lobby near me! It seems like you all are devouring that place with the greatest finds.
I am NOT tired of seeing his room, and can't wait for the whole shot.

HL is the best! I was looking at hardware at Anthropologie the other day and noticed that many are similar to the selection at HL, but HL is a fraction of the price! Can't wait to see your new treasure, good thing it was free if it needed 18 pieces!

Isn't it so fun to find knock-offs for so cheap?! I just love the DIY world out there! And it's never and endurance to see more pics of anything in your home Pam!
Your dumpster find sound absolutely wonderful! Can't wait to see it and what you do with it :)

For reals??!! We don't have a Hobby Lobby anywhere close to us, but I'm always seeing great stuff posted and people give the source of Hobby Lobby and I slap my palm to my forehead. Please Hobby Lobby - come to southeastern PA!!! We're begging you.

Thank you! I just move and had to leave my beautiful big hooks installed (worried that moving them would mess up walls & doors). Now I know how to afford new ones!
