on my thrifting list...bamboo accent table

Do you have a thrifting list? Mine is on my phone.
It's easy to forget about specific items you want to be on the lookout for, keeping a
list helps you focus in the heat of the moment when steals are so tempting! :)

These little gems are easy to score at thrift stores, garage sales or Craigslist.
(Check out the collection I found on our Craigslist at the end of the post)
Such a versatile piece, move it anywhere you might need an extra accent table,
or place to set a beverage or book, inside or outside, bedroom, bathroom, entry or
guest room. I love the interesting variety of details and sizes, too.

Here are a handful of options that came up on Craigslist just now:
$25 - Rattan with Glass top
$20
2 for $35 - Share with a friend!

$150 - Not a steal, but worth a splurge for this unique Mid-century piece!
 26"w x 14"d x 22"h

What's on your thrifting list?

I bought a little bamboo table off a Facebook yard sale site for $5 and it's currently serving as a bedside table, but I've also used it as a plant stand to fill up a lonely corner. Love the glass topped ones you found on CL!

Anything unique and different! It has to 'speak' to me or else it doesn't make its way into my house. Who needs extra clutter?! ;)

So I didn't know that I needed a bamboo accent table but after seeing these images, of course I do! :)

I love those really small scale ones in some of the photos, those could come in handy anywhere!

I scored one a bamboo side table at an estate sale this past spring and I love it. The top needs a bit of repair but I was thrilled to get it. You've found some great options!

Oh yeah, I keep a list in my phone too. You'd think it would be easy to memorize "fabric, art, dishware, tables, busts, antlers, plaid blankets, cake stands...." But somehow it's not. :)

They are super pricey here in DFW. However, there's a used hotel furniture store that has them for $20. They came from the Anatole Hotel in Dallas. :)

Oh I think one cannot have too many cute tables like this. Great finds for sure!

You really can't have too many "accent" tables. They often make the room!!

Love accent tables Pam and the bamboo is so fun creating a casual almost beachy feel and they fit just about anywhere. I'm way behind on your posts! It's been a challenging summer with the house construction and I can do little more than deal with the chaos .. so blogging is on hold for another month. I hope you are enjoying the tail end of summer with the kids! xxL

I don't have a list and that I think causes me more problem than good since I end up buying things sometimes I don't really need... YET. I ave a bamboo side table I scored at homegoods years ago and sits in my basement, the only downside to it, is the dust in between the bamboo! LOL! Good luck with your hunt dear!

Love little bamboo tables. I use them a lot for staging: cute, unique, don't take up square footage and LIGHT for moving!

Great examples, Pam. I could find a place for any of them, I think. I'm with Sarah M. Dorsey, I love anything bamboo, rattan and Chinese Chippendale. I went to an estate sale last Fri. and I scored something I have been wanting forever - a Chinese Chippendale mirror. I love it and it was only $45. It made my weekend.

Always love your blog - take care.

You can never go wrong with bamboo, in my opinion at least! I would love to find some campaign or bamboo inspired nightstands!

That's a good idea to keep a thrifting list. Bad for my wallet, but still a great idea! Hope you find tables that you love.

Love the idea of a thrifting list and I've had a little obsession lately with small bamboo accent tables!!

I loooooove bamboo! And I still like it painted. Right now my list is short because I am homeless :). However, I am on a hunt for an inexpensive coffee table to put in our rental. One that we can put our feet up on and trash!
