When we first moved into our home this rustic, old work bench was in the garage.
I loved it!
A corner on our deck became it's home, I use it as a potting bench,
or it makes a perfect drink station for parties.
Since we see it from our kitchen, I like to decorate it for the seasons.
For Christmas I added blue spruce branches from our yard,
dried asters, that escaped the fall clean-up, and faux red berries
to the wrought iron planter.
It took me about 15 minutes to cut a few branches and dried plants and plop
them in the planter, and the best part,
it will look nice until spring.
Do you have a sad, lonely looking pot that you see everyday?
Take 15 minutes and perk it up!
Have a wonderful weekend sweet friends and thanks for visiting!

This really makes me want to be in CO! I have to go steal from Home Depot to get pretty branches for projects like this. Clever that you think to decorate the viewing space from inside!
What a great idea. Love the old work bench. We have one of those in our basement too. Now you've got my wheels turning!
OK, add beautiful floral design to your long list of talents! You are Mother Nature's best friend.
Pam, Thank you so much for designing our holiday window box. It is truly beautiful and looks like a magazine photo. You are extremely creative, talented, and professional. We are happy clients!
Our back porch needs some love...I've got a table that we use out front in the warmer weather that I might just take out back and try to do something with it. I look out our kitchen window and would love to see a nice pretty planter or some lights to make me smile - instead of squirrels doing all kinds of crazy things. Have a great weekend Pam!
I love how you've decorated the old work/potting bench. Nice to look out at.
