stained table, it is...

Thanks for weighing in on my latest Craigslist find that I shared yesterday!!
I've decided to live with it, as is, for awhile before making a decision about painting it.
I kept visualizing it giving our family room a traditional vibe that was more formal than
I wanted, so I turned to Pinterest for inspiration. Never one to disappoint, P came
through once again! I have my predictable beloved neutral background, light slipcovered
sectional and jute rug to work with.
This room is one of my favorites - I love the interesting collected mix with a nod to
traditional, but not stuffy, the unexpected pieces throw in, and the comfortable, put
your feet on the table and cozy up with a book feel. The gallery wall is probably a little
busy for me, but a dose of gold and big abstract with lively color is right up my alley.

I think that was record breaking decision, one day! :)

Have the BEST weekend friends!
Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there reading
(that would be you, Hon)!
In addition to celebrating Father's Day on Sunday we have my nephew's wedding.
I'll be taking off Monday, but will be back on Tuesday,
hopefully with pretty pictures to share!
