the easiest lamp choice...

Happy Monday! :)
The next time you're wavering about which lamp to choose, and you've dismissed
a lackluster, ho hum white one you may want to reconsider.
I don't know how many times I've passed up a simple white lamp, thinking I needed
something more creative or unique, and completely underestimated the statement it could
make. Also, its limitless versatility is a huge plus for those of us who like to change things up.

Take note of these pretty statements...

There are some gorgeous examples in this collection. You are so right, I haven't ever thought of using an all white lamp.

This is a very timely post for me to read! I am looking for lamps for my office and was thinking of doing a pair of possibly white ones! Great to see examples!

I have a pair that get moved around, and I've been considering what color to choose for my bedroom. White may be a strong contender!

Now I wish I still had the Ginger Jar Asian white lamps MC carried home from Japan in the 1960's!!! The images of the white lamps are stunning!!!

Such pretty shapes. Does my Goodwill lamp count? I just need to cover the shade!

Love a beautifully shaped white lamp and these are all so pretty!! It would be so hard to choose my favorite because they all suit each vignette so well! Great post!

I like how these lamps let the art be the star in the vignette.

Oh thank you, I am feeling like my white spray painted lamps are so chic right now :) Our house is seriously lacking good lamps, I find it so hard to commit for some reason. Now you've got my wheels turning.

So true! I was searching every possible source for the perfect lamps in a guest room I'm working on. The light finally went on in my head! Large-scaled white ceramic lamps completed the look perfectly. Your images are a perfect example of all they can do! Great post!

Luckily I do! Scored mine at the thrift (so even better), the Threshold version of the famous JA gourd lamps! I so love Julie Holloway's entry in the 1st pic! Truly perfect!

Love all these! We have a few ivory ones because they freshen and update rustic country furniture, which we have a lot of.

thanks for the reminder! With so many colorful and amazing lamp choices nowadays we forget to see the beauty in the more basic white ones. I agree all these images make the white lamp look amazing! It makes the space.

You are so right. I always want to go for color and print. I recently sprayed some great vintage lamps white. They are looking great on my sofa table.
