i love using old maps. I decoupaged maps onto a small Parsons table for our daughter when she was in college, very easy to do, Also have used maps to cover an ugly old wood box for one on our sons when he was little to hold his little treasures. Cannot remember the last time I used a paper map for actual navigation!

Pam - something is going on with us and the universe…wait til you see my post today! Reminds me of the day I bought wheat grass seeds and you posted a tutorial on growing it…crazy!

LOVE those globe lights - that is so creative and fun! How cool would they be in a study or kid's room?

I, too, am obsessed with maps! My grandparents use to have this room in their house that had a giant vintage map as the wallpapering. MIxed with dark wood bookshelves, it makes for a gorgeous room!

When I graduated from college one of my friends made a few of us map candles. They are so cute and kind of started me on a love for map decor. xo

I love old maps and globes. I would love to have several old globes in the brown/neutral colors. On my to-hunt-for list! If you find some cool thrift ones I'd gladly buy them from you!:)

Last year I copied your post on map wrapping paper for wrapping a teacher gift from the classroom. It was a big hit. Now I would like to copy the trays and bowl.

Don't think I need a map chair :) and never thought of a whole site on map decor, but I do love a large black and white map of Paris or some covetable place on a wall. I LOVE ALL YOUR PINS>
have a great weekend.

Wow, I don't think I have ever seen a map as a pendant (but of course there would be one)!! I confess, the map pendant is my fave.
