interest for your entry...

You've probably seen them...an interesting, odd, funky, maybe charming little chair
at a thrift store, neighborhood garage sale, antique shop, or chic boutique.
They're my favorite for adding style and function to an entry,
they can be had for a steal, and many times they're a breeze to re-upholster.

I have one...it was Mr. Simple's grandmother's and it's going to make a debut on
Thursday with the rug. Before I show you the 'before' here are a few ideas for incorporating
them into an entry, I love the unique styles.

When you first take an upholstery class, they suggest you do a chair. I took classes for about 5 years. I love this post, it makes me feel like home.

There were too many beautiful ones for me to choose a favorite! Chairs are my favorite to get from thrift stores because they are usually easy to redo but you still get a big feeling of satisfaction :)

Pam your posts are always so inspiring, I don't need a small chair in my entry but you can bet I want to go and transform one after your post.

Oh. and that fabric is going to look awesome on that chair! I'm anxiously waiting for the reveal:)

My faves are the Elle Decor image and the Lauren Liess image. I like that the chairs can be a real statement or a simple statement like you said just to creat interest. And I love the fabric that you've chosen for your chair - can't wait to see the results.

I'm a sucker for little chairs and I can't wait to see how this one turns out. My husband sort of stomps his foot to bring me back to reality when I think about adding another one. I know yours will be really special!

You solved my latest tweaking problem. I have moved my little MGBW Sexy Sadie little chair all over. Never placed it at the door as you show. Sadie fits there perfectly at my door! Bam it works! On to the domino movement of furniture!
I live to tweak!

Such a simple addition with so much more impact depending on style and fabric pattern. I love that you have a family heirloom and will incorporate it. Excited to see it with the rug.
