back to the dining room...

Woo Hoo!
I know not everyone would delight in these lows, but I love it!
We're planning on cozying up by the fire, cooking comfort food, baking,
bundling up and going for a walk, watching football,
and working on my dining room chairs...finally!

Summer fun,  Detail Boy's bedroom makeover, and the rug pushed the chairs down
the priority list, but they're back on top and I have a plan.

The host chairs are headed to the upholsterers as soon as this fabric arrives...yay!
No, it's not any of the original patterns I was considering, to make a long
story short...I changed my mind about the rug which in turn meant I needed to
 choose new fabrics! :)
My plan waaaay back at the beginning of the year was to include some elements
to give the room a more modern feel, and this won out.
Neutral, textural, modern, unique.

I'll be working on my Craigslist chairs I painted...

Thank you all so much for the kind comments on my rug yesterday.
I was blown away by all the amazing rugs, in fact I'm inspired to give our back
door mat one of those 30 minute makeovers soon!

Hope your weekend is filled with fun, make the best of it rain or shine!

I'm so excited to see your host chairs in that fabric!! Is the same fabric going on the side chairs? They are going to be gorgeous I'm sure.

The weather looks perfect for this time of year. I wish I could say the same for us in NY. Although it is expected to reach 79 degrees (!!) today, we expect some rain over the weekend and we are driving up to Massachusetts to see the fall foliage. Enjoy your weekend! Excited to see how your chairs turn out; mine are need of reupholstery soon.

oh it will be so fun to see your dining room come together!
I'm really wishing the cooler weather would let some warmth in tomorrow - I'm photographing a wedding tomorrow - outside - and the high is 53. and cloudy. BRRRRRR.

That fabric is fabulous. I love the modern, yet quiet feel. I am dying to find some CL chairs to redo. I got some at a yard sale about 10 years ago during my French country phase and even had custom chair cushions made $$$. I am sick of them. :( So excited to see yours!
