Wow they really add so much character to the space. Id go for the gold too! Unfortunately there's no ikea in India. But I'm sure it's a style one shouldn't have too much difficulty getting. Lovely post! Smiles. :)
I have the work lamp on my daughter computer desk. My husband brought it from a home he is remodeling, they were throwing it away. Loved it for her room.

As big of an Ikea junkie as I am, I can't believe II don't have one of those! I was here 3 times in the past 2 weeks and the woman at the return desk said I looked really familiar, did she know me? I told her no, you've just seen me here a lot!! Ha!!
I have always loved the red one and should have bought one last time I was there. Maybe next time.

I love those lamps. The floor model really caught my eye. I've seen something similar at Home Goods, but it was more expensive. Thanks for the heads up about the sale. A trip to Ikea is in my future!!

These are wonderful lamps and I need one for a corner in my family room. I like the industrial feel and they are not too intrusive. You get the light without taking up lots of space.

I wish they came in more finishes, mainly black and brass. I do like the red though. I love all the pic finds.
You made me miss IKEA! I live 360+ miles from the nearest one, and everytime I'm close to that store, I am sure to hored a lot of stuff! Love this lamp, have to get me one for our library! :-)
If it came in brass it would be mine! Any DIY I touch is a huge fail, so that's not an option!!
