copycat challenge

The first time I did a copycat challenge was last year at Christmas,
when I copied Pottery Barn's outdoor decor for our home.
It dawned on me that the Pottery Barn beverage center was the inspiration for my
potting bench redo that I shared here, and it would be fun to join the Copycat Challenge again.

My version of the Pottery Barn Beverage Center

Pottery Barn Inspiration
Ellsworth Entertaining Buffet
We use it as a beverage server most often.
The idea to use a garden pot as wine bucket came from Pinterest, I also included
beverages in a raised pot sitting on the deck. I was late to join the Pinterest bandwagon,
but you can check out my Entertaining board here.
You might remember I shared my collection of wine glasses at this fun party!

BEFORE (yikes!)

AFTER

Stop by Debbiedoo's and check out the inspiration!

Hi Pam, I love your take on the beverage center; in fact, I like yours better than the PB that inspired it. Lovely!

Your potting bench is so versatile!! Now you need to have some friends over! I love the idea of planters for beverage buckets….that is brilliant. I once went to an outdoor party where an entire canoe was filled with ice and beer, wine, soft drinks and water….I just love fun and interesting ideas like that. So anyways I'll be over around 4pm tomorrow?? :)

That looks so pretty, Pam! Perfect for an outdoor party. Love the pot used to hold the drinks and I love that you've got some plants on the top. Definitely a handy piece to have in the yard.

It looks fantastic and was so much more affordable than the PB version, right?

So fun and inviting - I'll be over! I like the clear drinking containers to bring in color for lemonade, pink lemonade, iced tea, fruit water - list goes on and on.

Great idea! Love your copycat. I'd love to have a potting bench/server, but where do you store it come winter?

I LOVE this! I like how quaint your version is...I like it better than PB actually. I spy some Kitchen Sink in that wine bucket...one of my favorites!!! I'm going to pin your potting bench/ beverage center to my porch/patio board. Thanks for inspiring. Will also be looking forward to more inspiration as a new follower.

Compared to Pottery Barn, I love yours so much better! I truly mean that. I love your attention to detail and the overall look! :) I also love that it can double as a gardening table or for serving guests. You must smile everytime you walk by it.
