neighborhood tour...

...in the rain.

Mother Nature put a damper on my potting bench project for the past couple days.
So, I was shopping (for gifts!) in Cherry Creek and thought I'd take a scenic street home.
Then it dawned on me that you'd all probably like to see the pretty houses, too!

This neighborhood is about ten minutes from my house.
Do you have a favorite?

Mine are 5, 6, 9, 12, and 17.
I'm the worst at choosing in these games!

I promise the next tour will be on a beautiful sunny Colorado day,
blue skies and flowers in bloom, until then I'm loving the rain!

How fun!! I just love that #5 - so charming! Although #12 with it's painted brick is mighty pretty too! Wishing you sunshine today Pam!

What a charming round-up but I'd go with #2, hands down. Thanks for the tour!

I like the last one but I'd change the shutters and details to black or a dark grey. I've always wanted a portico like that on the front of a house. And I think an ex-boyfriend of mine lives in Cherry Creek or at least he used to - ha!

I LOVE number 8. My eight year old would say number 14 - she is all about tile roofs on houses right now!!

Hi Pam, Ive been in that neighborhood when I visited my nephew( he lives in Washington Park)! He is a caterer (Haute Cuisine) and had booths at that farmers market in Cherry Creek for years..what a fabulous market that is! I love it there..so outdoorsy and amiable. Some of those homes look so european and the curb appeal is awesome.. Love it!

It was a tough decision but I think that I would have to go with #12.

I LOVE the brick house with the vines. I love older neighborhoods like the ones around Cherry Creek. All of the beautiful old homes remind me of the neighborhood where I grew up and my parents live. There's just something about a stately old brick house! I also like 12 and 14.

Wow, thanks for the eye candy! I love them all, but number 5 was my favorite. I'd love to have a house with that kind of charm!

Warmly, Michelle
