client project

Remember my client with the basement remodel and four children I told you about here.
Here's a peek at what I've been working on in the younger teen daughter's room.
The inspiration that started it all...

This large 25" pillow with embroidered details - fun, sunny, modern!

Tan and white horizontal stripes will be painted to coordinate
with the tan and white bedding above.

We're transforming a four poster bed they had by painting it a high gloss white.
She asked for it to be draped in netting...every teen girl's dream!

Two campaign style nightstands they have will be painted in my favorite
lacquer-like finish, I used here, with Rustoleum Protective Enamel Gloss in Yellow!

We chose these coordinating fabrics for pillows.
Instead of the small yellow and white print, I found a yellow and white chevron.

A cool stool with nailhead design, I made for her (HA!).
If you didn't get my joke, check it out here!

Have a wonderful SUNNY weekend,
no matter the weather!

So cute Pam! I love that one image of the yellow campaign dresser too - I've never seen that and love seeing that as inspiration. What a fun color combo - you know I'm a big fan of yellow. Have a great weekend! My little one was sick yesterday but we're back at it today.

You are so amazingly talented! What a lucky girl. I love that the scheme isn't too childish or too grandmaish. It is the perfect balance!

Pam,
I love all the fabrics. It looks like it will be a fun room to design! I want a bed like that - with mosquito netting and it must be on a tropical island! It is SO cold here tonight! Have a great week!

Gorgeous collection of fabric. This is going to be an amazing room, Pam. I grew up for many years with netting over my bed (depending on where we were living) and it was more for the mosquitoes than a decorative choice. It was fun but I probably did not appreciate the design element at the time - I would now!
