outdoor fall decor...

Here's my simple outdoor decor for fall...
My summer pots were still looking nice with the cooler weather, so I brought a couple
to our front patio, I like the bright pink with the orange. I bought a bale of hay when
I was at Home Depot one day and brought out the plastic faux pumpkins, my urn
with the evergreen topiary and an old sign I've had forever.
As much as I'd love the real deal I've learned my lesson over and over,
sadly the squirrels make an ugly mess of pumpkins in no time, so we go faux!

Happy Fall, Friends!

Looks wonderful! I really like the little pumpkins in the urn with the pink geranium! :)

Perfectly charming! I use faux pumpkins too, in our lamppost bed near the street, if teenage boys decide to explode some pumpkins, mine just roll and I pick them up and put them back in the bed!

Pam...such a great display for Fall...perfect!!...Your planters are beautiful!!...
So funny, I have just started to place a few things out on my porch and I have this little pot of pink geraniums that are doing well and cannot bear to toss it...so it is next to the fall plants too!!...Have a wonderful day!

Pam your entrance looks beautiful dressed for fall!
My summer plants are still thriving too, I didn't have the heart to pull them out so I poked a few pumpkins in mine too. Awesome shots!

I like the little pumpkin peeking out of your window box. Poor squirrels, you tricked them and took away their treat! Seriously, it's beautiful as usual.

So pretty!
I too hang on to my summer pots as long as possible so incorporating them with the fall touches makes sense. Who wants to spend all that money on Mums that only last a month tops!

Can I come over? Your pots are amazingly lush and beautiful Pam - I love the sweet potato vine spilling over and the pretty geraniums. Geraniums are my absolute favorite - they're so hardy and I love the shape and color of the flowers and leaves. You're making me excited to get my porch together, so today is the day - I'm going to get my fixins. Our pumpkins haven't gotten too destroyed the past few years but I always hesitate to put them out there. We'll see what happens this year.

Pam,
Your fall porch looks beautiful and I would have never taken those pumpkins for faux! They do look great with the bright pink. I did go with the real thing, but it's just a matter of time before the squirrels take over. My yard reads like a 1st grade book...the squirrels are busily working away...saving for winter. It's entertaining...until they start digging in my freshly potted mums.

The window box you designed for me is still doing well and too beautiful to tear out. Now I know what to do- just add my squirrel-proof pumpkins! Thanks for the idea, my pumpkin!

I am loving how you incorporated the hot pink geraniums into a fall vignette! I have one in my front pot that is doing so well, and who knew it would pair so beautifully with pumpkins? Your outdoor area looks so cheerful and welcoming, Pam!

Hi, I found you on Pinterest so have been browsing around. Love this! I am so ready to decorate for fall and my pink geraniums are still looking the best they have all summer. Now I see I can mix them in rather than replacing with mums! Thanks!!!!

This modification is really looking magnificent. You can also add few donut shape cushion, or drawing table to keep things together and easy getable. You can choose the best item from here.
