It looks like a lot of fun. The scenery is gorgeous, I love the big trees. I also like those boots on the fashion pic, now that is patriotic!

Looks like a fun time! Did you get a puppy or is that Rio? He is adorable! What are those bubble things in the pool? I've never seen those! Glad you're home., too. Have a great week Pam.

It looks like a wonderful 4th of July getaway, Pam! I'd love to visit Vail sometime (and so would the little skiers in my house). I spy a NE Patriots shirt in your photos……happy to see my home team was represented :)

OH how fun! I miss Vail, I used to ski there (as well as Keystone and Winter Park depending on what funds I had available) way back in the day! It looks like you had a lovely time!

Okay... now for the all consuming, burning question of the day... is the German grocer/deli in your neck of the woods still around? For the life of me I can't remember its name but I used to go there all the time when I was in high school and college. After I got married I started taking my husband and then the family... but mom moved away 13 years ago. I've started planning a trip to the area and hope to visit some old haunts.

Thanks! Have a lovely day!!

I need to get in on a Vail trip - looks like it was filled with fun. Those 4th of July boots are something else, aren't they? :) I'm such a home body - it's fun to explore but I love LOVE to come home.

Ahhh, Vail...love that place. Bummed you missed out on fireworks this year. That happened here last year but they extra good this year b/c of the leftovers!

Vail is the best, especially for the 4th of July! It is super busy though and hard to find transportation from Denver Airport. 2 Hours ride, not close, but you can always hire a private shuttle service from Denver to Vail. The road is not easy to drive yourself through two passes and a very high altitude. https://silvermountainexpress.com/denver-to-vail-shuttle/
