In the midst of my big projects,
I was inspired by a famous designer to do one of my favorite quick and easy diys.
I got carried away and added a couple more extra details than I'd originally planned.
Here are a few of my mystery supplies...
Balls from the Dollar Store
Balls from the Dollar Store
Leopard Print Table Runner
Remember this $7 Goodwill Lamp that got a new shade and was painted pink.
That's all I'm sharing for now, any ideas???
Here's a peek at Detail Boy's bedroom progress...
He's working hard putting all the Ikea pieces together for us.
The painting is finished, except for a charming 1938 radiator...ugh!
Measuring and lining up the hardware.
And, another bit of randomness, Home Depot has these popular Fiddle Leaf Figs for $10!
Stop by tomorrow for the mystery project reveal!

Isn't it adorable how cats like to lay in the middle of a project? They are so sociable! Love that he is assembling- my least favorite thing to do, but my son loves to do it, thank god. I can't imagine what those balls are for, so you've got my attention ( as usual!) Have a great day Pam!

Look at your boy putting together the dreaded IKEA pieces - good for him. (And good for you for challenging him to put them together). I'm clueless on your mystery project but very intrigued. And $10 for the plant?! I need to check that out. My peace lily has been doing pretty well being outside.
No idea! I bet it's safe to assume there's a little spray paint involved. You guys are definitely having a productive summer. Can't wait to see the fruits of your labor.
I'm curious! Detail boy and my son would make fast friends it sounds like :) Looks like fun stuff is happening.
Yay for fiddlehead figs!
I am so curious to see what you have up your sleeve! Spray paint gold? Sea urchin? Haha. Can't wait to see what it is!! :)
You're the Energizer Bunny! It's great that Detail Boy is involved in the process. Are you spraying the balls and redoing the lamp for the Fall?
Cant wait to see the reveal!...and as for the Fig plants, I'm going to check out my Office Depot and see if they've got them here too1!!!! =o)
ok you have me in suspense! Cant wait to see what you've been up to
Thanks for the info on the fig plant. I need one that is about 5 feet. Hopefully they have a good buy on figs that are that big. Cant wait to see your sons room.
Hmmm what could it be? No doubt it will be something wonderful when you finish.
(that first photo reminds me of something I hand my patients when I am about to do a painful procedure! oops.. that's probably TMI!)
Have a lovely day!

Note to self: buy balls at dollar store. Amazing. LOVE the projects you've been working on. They look amazing!
Totally stumped! And lucky you for finding the fiddle leaf at HD, I went and checked ours and everything there is just pathetic right now! Darn 105 temp! I hope you bought one!
