Good Morning, hope you all had a fun-filled weekend
and took full advantage of your extra hour!
Guess what I did with my extra hour?
If you guessed finished the barstool slipcovers.....you win!
Here they are all spiffed up....
Remember the before....
~ Fabric Taraz Spring Suzani $26.99/ yard, 3.5 yards at Hobby Lobby (40% off coupon)
~ Velcro $7 (50% off @ Hancock)
Total Cost - $64.00
I have enough fabric left for a 20 x 20 pillow and also a smaller one for a sweet client. :)
I lined them up so you could see that I took the time to match the pattern, I matched
the backs, fronts and seats, but wasn't feeling perfectionist enough to do that side inset.

I was a little nervous as we sat on them and ate pizza for dinner,
I suddenly FREAKED, I forgot to Scotch Gurad them!!!
If you missed it check out my Scotch Guard test.
I'm off to go shopping, my reward for all that work and $$$ I saved!

I love the fabric you chose! I don't think I've seen a barstool slipcover before, and these ROCK!
I love your fabric and the bar stools look like new! So perfect in your beautiful kitchen.
The barstools look fantastic in that fabric. Matching up the backs was a smart idea that makes them look more professional.

What a great transformation!I have 2 barstools but are rounded at the top & not quite sure how to tackle them but this gives me some ideas :) Thanks so much!
First and foremost, everything about your kitchen is stunning. The backsplash and detail above your stove is drool-worthy. I aboslutely love the fabric you chose! Will there be a how-to later?!

Fabulous! Isn't it nice to have your vision become reality? You did a fantastic job on the slipcovers, they look perfect!
How fantabulous Pam!! I'm in love with them. Makes me want to slip cover our bar seats. What are your thoughts on a slip cover for a Windsor bench? Have you seen the slip covered individual Windsor chairs? I'm wondering if I could do that to our bench in the dining area. You have skills!! Nice job - enjoy them!
Pam, they look so professional. The color and fabric choice works so nicely with all of your beautiful kitchen details. Do you think you will make seasonal slipcovers? Christmas, Summer, etc.???
Beautiful..so talented! I really like your island!
The barstools are absolutely beautiful!

Wow, these are beautiful! I love the fabric!
Very nice job!
You're a blog star! Congrats on another feature!!!
Love the barstool covers! I have some exactly like that and have been giving them the evil eye wishing they had a pretty patterned fabric instead of the leather. Found your blog through My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia. Question for you. Did you take your own measurements and come up with your own pattern or did you have one that you used? I'm now a follower of your blog!
Thanks for your sweet comments, everyone!
Andrea,
I made a pattern from an old sheet by draping it over the stool and pinning, cutting and tweaking. I'd never made a pattern before, so believe me anyone could do it! I'll work on a tutorial in the next couple days.
Smashing Fabric! Drooling over your Slipcovers here...
So glad you came by my blog!!! Love this makeover, they look great!!!
