i drank the green kool-aid...

More specifically, the Pantone Color of the Year, Emerald Kool-Aid.
I'm on board all the way, I loved it last year when I posted this inspiration
photo for the redo of my dresser I'm using in the dining room.

I listed my French style buffet on Craigslist last Friday at noon and by six o'clock it was
going, going, gone! Of course, the boys told me I priced it too low ($300) and I was
wondering myself, three others were in line for it, but I was happy - the nicest couple bought
it for their entry. I didn't waste time getting the free, trashed new piece in its place,
choosing a color and purchasing the paint...

Use your imagination and my green jeans as an example of the color,
can't you picture it?!!  :)

I'm planning a sleek modern look in this blue-green color, and to use eighteen of
these handles in gold.

I've got to rough it up and prime first, I'm beside myself excited to see it take shape,
and see how the color adds some pizazz to the room. Since we have skiing on our agenda
tomorrow I'll be up with the chickens on Tuesday ready to roll!

Emerald green is one of my favorite colors. I cannot wait to see how this turns out although I am sure it will be stunning. I love that you have a pair of jeans in that color, too!

Oh Pam it is going to be simply fantastic! I simply love this color but know it is going to be a number of years before we can introduce it into our home... in fact it will probably no longer be popular when we do. Ha ha! (it is going in the NY farmhouse though!!!)

Take care and enjoy your day! Which slopes are you hitting today? I so miss my beloved mountains.... enjoy them for me!! And all that gorgeous sunshine!!
