craigslist...newest find

You guys, I am SO excited about my new vintage bamboo chairs I picked up today!

This photo shows up on Craigslist Friday night, $30 each.

I emailed them Friday at 10pm:

"I'd like to buy your chairs, can I pick them up on Saturday?"

No response

I emailed back on Sunday evening;

"I'd still like to buy your chairs if they're available, I'm flexible,

and you can reach me by phone, text or email."

No response

I'm sure they're sold :(  which made me more obsessed with them!

So I do what any obsessed Craigslist addict does and start searching 

around for them, only to find the exact chair here:

 The Manhattan apartment of well known designer, Alex Papachristidis,

I am in love - the interest and texture it adds, the stained bamboo, beautiful! 

Now, I'm pre-occupied and consumed with winning the game getting them.

Monday afternoon at 1:30 I hear back, by 2:15 they were mine! 

$20 each - scoooooore! 

The young man selling them said they were his mother's and had been in storage,

he said they'd lived in several cities in Asia while he was growing up and she

 found them there. 

I love the size, the height of the back is 43". 

I'm not sure where they're going, but I love them!
