best buy...blue and white pottery

Blue and white pottery with an Asian influence is a timeless classic that has become
mainstream. I fell for the 'collected over time' look but my budget and time frame didn't.
You can find beautiful high-end pieces and antiques or you can get the look at bargain prices
as close as your local Ross store. Based on my shopping experience :) they receive a variety
of different shapes and sizes often. When I was searching for a few for my One Room Challenge kitchen makeover I knew Ross was the first place to hit and it didn't disappoint.
I found my entire collection there, and some of them on clearance.

The vase above with the birds is about 17" tall and was $22.99.
The hexagon piece is about 13" tall and 8-9" wide for $12.99.

These are in my lighted cabinets in the kitchen, the vase on the left with a unique
shaped handles is about 15" tall and was $12.99 on clearance.

If you pop in to check and they happen to be out be sure to stop back,
it seems they get a sprinkling of inventory, but it's often.

Blue & white is so perfect in your refreshed kitchen! Love that pop of cobalt and there is something about the wood tones with the pottery - the spoons next to the stove - such a pretty vignette!

You're so right, Pam! The few pieces I have came from Ross and flea markets. T

I love the idea to use blue & white for kitchen utensils! And styled on a tray? Gorgeous! I'm not sure I could keep my counters looking that organized, but you're inspiring me!

Ross is such a great place for steals. I have to be in 'hunting mode' when I go there though!

What great finds Pam! I think there are a couple Ross stores in NJ somewhere. I have to check them out! I have also found a few blue and white pieces at Hobby Lobby.

My go-to for blue and white! I did find a good new piece at Hobby Lobby the other day, too! Love how you've added that into your kitchen.

Beautiful. I used to have so many blue and white pieces, but passed several along to my mom who loves them just as much as I did.

Great finds! I love the one with the birds on it. My grandma was a blue and white fan and she had tons of stuff and I luckily inherited some of the smaller pieces and pretty much fall in love with any blue and white that I see when I'm shopping.

My Grandmother had a large collection of Bowbell blue and white pottery, including dinner, luncheon and dessert plates. But my favorite pieces were the tea pots and serving pieces. I had them for years and passed them on to my daughter who has been enjoying them ever since! They are, and have been, in the same mahogany cabinet that my Grandmother kept them in!

I love the classic look of blue and white! I'd love to start a collection of my own (not that I need any more collections!) You can't beat the prices at Ross!

Classic and timeless! I've added blue and white ceramics to our home since we first married. Most of mine were thrift shop or estate sale finds. You found some beautiful pieces and shapes. Love the vase with the birds. I'll have to stop in to Ross and see their selection. Thanks for sharing!
