the week's details...

We're having a party next Saturday...Motivation, with a capital M!
Yay! Some projects are going to get finished!

Some girlfriends and I are having a birthday dinner for a special friend.
I found these napkins at Cost Plus, they're the inspiration for the table setting,
there weren't enough, so I think I'll make four more in a coordinating fabric.

I'll keep you posted on the progress...

I didn't think the green frog tape along the ceiling would be a nice touch so,
I've been painting...everything! With our open floor plan once you start there is no stopping!
Good bye, Westminster Gold
Hello, Navajo White!

While painting I moved the bench...hmmm food for thought,
I love benches in the dining room!

Notice how I strategically placed my ladder so not to ruin the
flamingo artwork reveal?

You're probably wondering about it...
I ordered a few prints...patiently waited
had some framing done at my beloved Hobby Lobby,
they made an error on the fillet and had to order more...patiently waited
I decided to frame some vintage flamingo stamps...
found them on Etsy...coming from Australia...still patiently waiting.

Here's a peek, I'm hoping they'll be ready for a reveal on Monday!
(I think I said that last week)
But, without the stamps.

Vintage Postage Stamps

Vintage postage stamps - Flamingo and other wading birds

Etsy Shop Arty Pharty here

Don't know if I'll get to this by next Saturday, but I love the aged gray color
of this old piece of wood, it's actually a shelf in my kitchen.
I want something in the dining room with this look.

The farm table?

The buffet?

This mirror?  What do you think?

Here's one more idea for your wheat grass,
I'm not sure if I'm hosting Easter, but if so, I'll be set.
I planted wheat grass in this china for each place setting,
 it was mr. simple's grandma's.

Is it just me, or does this post feel a little hyper?!

Wishing you a fabulous spring weekend, friends!

Oh, please be quick Mr. Postman...Pam's throwin' a party! I have no doubt you'll get it all done in time, and with great style, no less.

I love this kind of "this is what's going on" type of post. And I'm SO excited to see that yummy Navajo White up on the walls. And those napkins! Love them! Did you see I had a napkin in my photo today too? We're on the same wavelength Pam :) Wish I lived down the street so I could pop in for progress checks. I love when you throw a party - can't wait to see more details.

You have so many exciting things going on, I want those napkins! Maybe replicate the grey look on your table? I know it will be fabulous whatever you choose!

Oh my gosh, Pam. How do you find the time? Wonderful projects. I am anxious to see those flamingos!

Have a great weekend!

Love what's going on! So you must not have another "day" job? You're so busy! You are amazing and such an inspiration to me. I think you should "age" the mirror, which is gorgeous. So is that buffet, which I'd leave alone.
Have a great weekend Pam!

Best wishes on getting the painting done! You will be so happy with it:) Can't wait to see your flamingo reveal. And hyper is good - it gets things done!!!!

Pam- LOVE the napkins! They are so beautiful-like small works of art! Can you send some of that motivational energy my way!? :) I need to get some things done too!

I think you should gray your table or the mirror. I think the buffet is such a beautiful classic piece that I'm not sure if it could take the gray. Your table would look great though!
Love the Flamingo stamps. Can't wait to see them.

You sound pretty zippy today! Nothing like having a party to get the house in tip-top shape, and then you get to enjoy it!

I love that weathered wood look, it would be fantastic for the table! The dining room is going to be fantastic, can't wait to see it! I think the bench at the table is a good mix, too. Enjoy you weekend...don't work TOO hard!

You have so much going on - it must be spring fever and not hyperactivity! The party sounds like fun - I cannot wait to see more. If I remember correctly, the first post I read here was about a party you hosted with a ton of jars with candles all lit and looking stunning. The flamingo stamps are so very pretty and quite unique, in my opinion. All very intriguing. Enjoy the weekend!

It's all stunning. Like Crissy at House of Marlowe said..."even the mess". Your right about motivation. When theres a party planned, things tend to get done. Love the flamingo stamps and the inspirational napkins. Can't wait to see the after.
