charming easter idea

It's too simple and sweet not to share!

Years ago a favorite neighbor gave me with the most charming Easter surprise...
 ~  thank you, Karen  ~

One empty egg carton

 Two Small Viola 6 packs

Two toothpicks to hold the lid open

Here are some styling ideas...

rustic garden

fresh modern

kitchen vignette

breakfast buffet

coffee table chic

After Easter remove them from the egg carton and plant in
your yard or favorite pot.

You can use any size egg carton 6, 12, 18 or 24 packs.

If you'll be a guest for Easter, it would make any hostess smile!

Love that I caught you in the clean-up part of today's work (even if it was by accident)! It really is just as cute as you said. I might have to steal this idea for a RAK.

What a great idea Pam! I haven't done one single thing in my house for Easter and I have company coming! This gives me a good idea for a simple and quick fix for an Easter vignette.

I might think about doing this for Sheila's teachers at school. I wanted to do a plant and this is a fun seasonal way to mix it up a little. Thanks Pam!

I have a stack of about 20 egg cartons, as I fill them with dryer lint and top with candle wax to use as firestarters in the chiminea. Now I have a new project for the weekend, because I think everyone I know may get one!! yay!

Cannot decide what is cutest - the egg carton planter, your patterned lampshade or that gold tray!!
