You guys are going to love how simple this project is!
Our challenge this week was to use gold leaf or gilding.
(Thank you again, Shauna for inspiring us to get our craft on.)
As much as I'd love to try a real gold leaf project, it wasn't happening this week,
and I feel 100% ok about it after finding these definitions:
1. Something used to give a superficially attractive appearance
2. Gold leaf or paint containing or simulating gold.
I thought my plain jane cream and sugar set could use a little pick me up
before the holidays...
Before:
Yes, so simple it needs no explanation!!
After:
We don't use our set everyday, for the special occasions when we do I'll
lightly hand wash it with a mild soap.
Don't miss what these ladies' created with gold leaf this week...

aaah gold makes everything better!
Gold makes everything just a little better! It's dangerous to have a free afternoon and a can of gold spraypaint!
Love it Pam! Gold really makes anything better!
Quick, easy and a big impact...my kind of craft!
Love it, how super does this look. Fantastic. Hugs, Marty
Awesome! I love how simple yet impressive this project is! I'll be searching my cupboards today to see what I can paint.
Love how the gold doesn't overpower the white. Simple, but so beautiful!
So cute, easy and very festive!
I like that you did accents instead of the whole thing! Very chic!
So you know, I nominated you for an award on my blog! Go check it out! :)
I can't believe what a difference the gold makes..... from simple to simply chic!

What a great idea. So simple, but it makes them so elegant looking. I think I might need to get out my rub n' buff again!
Amazing what a little paint can do Pam! It's all in the "details" for sure!
Whoever would have thought? I love it!
Just a little gold can go such a long way! They look so pretty, Pam!
This tops all my "gold" accents. FABULOUS......
What a great idea! I definitely need to do this. xx
