diy gold accents...

You guys are going to love how simple this project is!
Our challenge this week was to use gold leaf or gilding.
(Thank you again, Shauna for inspiring us to get our craft on.)
As much as I'd love to try a real gold leaf project, it wasn't happening this week,
and I feel 100% ok about it after finding these definitions:

1. Something used to give a superficially attractive appearance
2. Gold leaf or paint containing or simulating gold.

I thought my plain jane cream and sugar set could use a little pick me up
 before the holidays...

Before:

Yes, so simple it needs no explanation!!

After:

We don't use our set everyday, for the special occasions when we do I'll
lightly hand wash it with a mild soap.

Don't miss what these ladies' created with gold leaf this week...

Gold makes everything just a little better! It's dangerous to have a free afternoon and a can of gold spraypaint!

Love how the gold doesn't overpower the white. Simple, but so beautiful!

What a great idea. So simple, but it makes them so elegant looking. I think I might need to get out my rub n' buff again!
