our back deck...

Hope your weekend was fabulous!
I finished arranging, making a slew of pillows and tweaking the decor on our deck. I've always
had large pots overflowing with flowers, but the formal manicured look of boxwoods has won
me over big-time and the only pot of flowers to be found is a little pansy from early spring.
We inherited four large, cushy chairs from my parents, and I wasn't sure if it would be
overkill in addition to the two we had, but it's already proven to be a comfy conversation
area to enjoy with friends. :)

I found this over sized lantern on the clearance rack at TJ Maxx...

This black Ikea Lack table is the perfect size for the patio...

Looking back toward the buffet...

Remember this wicker settee I found at the garage sale last year,
I made new cushions from drop cloths, my first drop cloth diy, and some new pillows.
I want to cover the six chairs to match...someday. :)
A piece of stone placed on top of a ceramic pot gives more surface area to set drinks.

The potting bench is mostly used for a serving buffet, I stole the idea of a lamp after seeing
how cool Emily's looked on her patio. You won't believe it ~ this lamp was on the sidewalk
with a free sign. I didn't do a thing to it, or the shade! #luckyday
But I do have a fun idea for the shade...it's on the list...

My diy sunburst I made awhile back found a new home.
I printed out 'chill' on the computer and added it to a simple frame.

Our patio table with the requisite Pellegrino for photo shoots.

Bring on the BBQ's, drinks and friends!
We're ready!

Check out last year's 'decked out' post for a different look with
potted flowers and the settee in bright green ikat here.

Looks great, loving the cushions and the chill sign. The pot with the succulents in is really nice. Just remembered I have a pot like that now I need to get some succulents for it. Thanks for the inspiration again ♡

Pam, Not only is your patio sensational and so classy looking, your photography skills are really soaring! I love the peak through a boxwood, or trying not to take the entire deck all at once. Great job!!! It really looks inviting. You must have a huge deck, cause it looks it. Have a wonderful time using it.

Your patio looks beautiful Pam! I love the boxwoods. They add the perfect amount of green and make everything look so alive and fresh! I bought a few boxwoods this year too and am really happy with how they look. Normally the deer eat anything I put in the pots by my garage but they haven't touched the boxwoods and they look great! Great job on the patio - get out there and enjoy it!

Wow, I bet that was a lot of hard work! What a lovely spot to relax and enjoy your family and friends. That lantern is spectacular, and your new pillows and cushions look so pretty! Love the idea of all the chairs pulled together so everyone has their own seat. I think I'm moving to your neighborhood...you get the best stuff off of the curbs there! :)
