grilled pizza...a simple summer dinner

We love the casual, easy, everyone-make-your-own, style of
grilling pizza, and the indulging in the inevitable dessert that follows.
Here's how it goes down at our house ...

Start with wine...

Mr. Simple stopped at the Italian deli to pick up fresh pizza dough, sausage, pepperoni,
mozzarella, provolone, etc. We all love spicy, so green chilis and jalapenos are a must.

Roll out your pizza dough, slather with a bit of olive oil and put on the grill,
(only grill one side!)

Top the grilled side with your favorite ingredients...
We have  1) not much of a meat eater,  2) a big meat eater, 3) a big meat eater that thinks
cheese should be the last ingredient.
Finish off on the grill.

Enjoy, but...

save room for hot off the grill, drizzled with honey, deliciousness!

Do you do grilled pizza?

Happy, Happy Father's Day
to all the fabulous dads out there who read my blog! :)
Here's hoping you get your favorites on the grill this weekend!

We love BBQ pizza. Right now we are really into Naan break pizza. It is so quick and easy..and really, anything with naan involved is usually delicious.

That looks and sounds fabulous! We never grill pizza cause I never knew how easy it was! Will be doing this next time we make pizza. And we all like cheese to be the last ingredient :) I love how you make each person their own personal pizza!

I have seen people grill pizza before, but I have never tried it. This makes it look super easy. I think I might....you know how that goes. Maybe yes, maybe no.I'll surprise myself.
