patio lighting...

I don't think it gets any better than al fresco dining in the summer time,
of course, friends or family are a must,
oh, and one more necessity...ambiance!
Here are some pretty ideas to give your patio a warm glow,
and a simple one I did for our deck.

Lanterns placed in the garden...

blackcountrymetalworks.co.uk

I loved the idea of lanterns hanging on shepherds hooks, this one is too tall,  but I think
it would look great inserted into a pot of flowers on the patio. I found the lanterns at
TJ Maxx. Unfortunately, I didn't notice when I got them but the glass candle holders inside
aren't removable, so they will be going back. They would be a nightmare to clean,
but you get the idea. :)

Do you have lighting on your patio?

Oh...I love your pillows! I have been collecting lanterns on sale last year and this year and have several for both the front and back of the house. I'll be showing soon. I bought some at TJ Maxx and Marshalls last year.

I love all the lighting. I also bought some solar lighting from Ikea for under the bushes and I'm also a tiki torch girl.

What a bummer that you have to bring them back. I have always wanted to wrap a tree with white lights (trunk and branches). I am not sure how to do this because the tree will grow and the truck will get thicker? Wouldn't the strands break?

I love the dual lantern you got - too bad they're not going to work. I'm sure you'll find something else! I have been ogling some solar lights for my back garden where my path is. I love the idea of little lights illuminating the way to the deck.

Love your lanterns and I hope you can find something similar that will work for you. I'm going to check out that orb DIY. I think that might work for my back porch. Once again, thanks for the inspiration.

Wish I could hang a light on my deck but need to install a pergola first! Right now I use battery-operated incoor?outdoor candles in lanterns. But I love all of your DIY!

Sometimes I light candles when we eat dinner on my deck but I love the idea of the little lights on the boxwood!

So pretty Pam. Love the lanterns.. I agree, this set would be tough to clean. I've broken glass lanterns trying to clean them so I'm careful what I buy. Al Fresco is the way to go in the summertime.

And now I have the 'patio lanterns' song running through my head :) I so wish it would stop raining here so we could spend some time outside...at this point I'd be happy sitting in the glow from the kitchen window.

Sadly I don't even have a patio - yet! These are wonderful lighting ideas - hope to steal a few some day!!!

These lighting ideas could really brighten up everyone's day, Pam. Especially those lanterns. But the big winner for me is your first photo. They are strategically crafted to enhance the look of your patio.

My backyard is a complete mess. When I moved into the house the previous owners had the house is good shape, but the yard is a pit. I'm currently working on "cheering up" small sections and will definitely be taking some of these light ideas into consideration. xx

i love this post.LED energy saving light has long service life: LED lights is through a semiconductor chip light-emitting , no glass bulb, not afraid of vibration, invulnerability to breakage and life span of up to fifty thousand hours. With normal bulb production (using the time 1000 hours), is that it life span 50 times; And normal energy-saving lamp is 8000 hours, it is more than six times. Super longest is obviously.
