This is what I'm up to today...
I know it isn't everyone's idea of fun, but I can't wait to see how this turns out!
Do you remember my client with the kitchen update? I was planning to take photos today and
present you with the 'reveal' on Monday, but we decided to add one more project to
finish it off. She found Rust-Oleum's Counter Transformations on the clearance rack at
Home Depot awhile back, so we decided to go for it! Actually, those were my words,
hers were, "let's try it in the garage."
We're planning to give her faux butcher block counters some style to go with these
great pieces we've already made over...
...and a dramatic gallery wall of black botanicals.
Tune in for the reveal one day next week and keep your fingers crossed,
neither of us have tried this before.
Has anyone had any experience using Rust-Oleum's Counter Transformation?

This looks like an interesting project. I can't wait to see the results. I like the black botanicals.
Can't wait to see how it will turn out. I've read about it here and there in blogland but have never tried it myself.
Keep up the good work!! I am sure that the final outcome is going to be the good one!

This is an exciting project! I can't wait to see how they come out. I think Ange from The Blooming Hydrangea used this product, and I've seen it around blogland. With your painting expertise I'm sure it'll be fabulous!!! Good luck!
All I will say is you two are brave. Good luck.
Looking forward to the reveal. Can't wait to see how the counters turn out!
No I haven't but Ive seen it, and it looks pretty great. I wish you success! The black botanicals are awesome and so are the other pieces. It's going to have that Pamela Style signature fantastic look!

Nope, but it will be interesting to see how it turns out! Can' t wait to see all of those gorgeous things put together!
I look forward to seeing how it turns out! We have lovely pink countertops in our new house, and I am debating multiple options to get rid of them as fast as humanly possible.
Looking forward to seeing the outcome. I used their Cabinet Transformations product on my bathroom vanity and was happy with the results.

I can't wait for this reveal. I have wondered about this product every time I see it in the store! Good luck!!
no ... but go for it! What do you have to loose and I'll bet with you in charge it will look awesome can't wait for reveal!
I tried to convince MC to try the kit for refinishing the cabinets. Never happened! But we found Annie and the cabinets look great. The counter top "Kit" looks easier to tackle.
Can't wait to see how it all worked out!!
oh...I'm so eager to see what you come up with for this space and so interested to see how that counter product works. I've seen it but yet to hear a good review! Can't wait for an update!
