This happy, sunny blast is trending as a go-to color for 2013.
I just received the new West Elm Spring catalog, it's filled with the promise
of spring around the corner, and vibrant yellow fabrics and accessories.
My friend Luci at Bungalow at Home posted about the new Stockholm collection
at Ikea a few days ago, I LOVE the bright yellow cabinet,
she is right it's going to be everywhere!
Houzz is forecasting yellow to be big as a pop with neutrals.

I don't know if I could make the polka dot commitment, but boy did that room make me smile! Yellow does give a good sunshine fix!!
I love little pops of yellow. It looks especially cool with the black and white, which I would have thought would look more bumblebee but doesn't at all in the images you shared!
I love a touch of yellow in decor and in my wardrobe.... that first room is fabulous!

I finally got all the yellow out of my house- I don't think I am ready for it again yet! I love all the pics you posted- maybe the key is balancing it with cool hues like grays.
I love this cheerful color! Definitely gets me thinking of spring. (Even though we woke up to more snow this morning.) But, I'm looking on the bright side. :)
Love the bright pops of color. I'd probably do pillows -- so I can switch 'em out at will.
I'm just not a yellow person. Yellow flowers-I won't turn down. Subtle yellow I could live with. Maybe this year is my yellow year!

I would have said no to yellow until I saw your photo round-up. I love the doors and slipcovers. So cheery.

Love the yellows in small doses. Looks more modern when not paired with blue but with neutrals. Going to check out the new Ikea pieces, very exciting when Ikea comes out with new designs!

I love it in other people's photos, but don't really have anything yellow here. Those sunny yellow tulips are looking awfully appealing!

Beautiful photos! I've been in a "yellow frame of mind" the past two spring/summer seasons. Just found the cutest little mirror with a yellow frame at HL at 50% off so of course, it landed in my basket.
