one room challenge... week 4

I'm keeping it short and sweet for you!
Because, if you've been following along with all twenty bloggers each Wednesday I know
you're excited to check out this week's progress, and it takes a bit of time to get through all of them,
and I have a cold and want to go to bed.  :)

Let there be light...

Home Depot Hampton Bay Swing Arm Wall Sconce $49.97

You've probably guessed I'm a fan of mixing metals, I think it will work well with cool gray and
warm tan in the fabric I've chosen. That shade to the left needs to go back it has a blip on the
top edge. These shades may get some trim?? Thoughts?

Urban Outfitters Triple Tiered Pendant Shade $64.00
I wanted to include something with a modern edge.

I thought it was looking a little plain.
I had some of this left from my hutch makeover, and I have a plan. :)

Coming back down...one step forward, two back!

Next week the finished window treatment, and tiered shade.

If you'd like to catch up with past weeks

Thanks so much for following along, everyone!
Head over and visit my friends' progress this week.

I've always loved that pendant shade! Is it as great in person? I can't wait to see what you do with it. Hope you feel better soon, friend.

Looking very good ... I am a little sleepy this morning and I thought you had a green trimmed sink. I was a FAN!! Then I realized it was painters tape!! Well ... if you ever decide to paint it I will cheer you on!! xo

I love mixing metals. Before long, silver will be all the rage, again. I am really curious to see what you do to the pendant. Hope your cold is over soon.

I couldn't wait to come visit today and see your bathroom progress! Totally loving your choice of light fixtures…the fact that you mixed the metals, and their shapes…..you help me to see things in a different way….wishing I could go shopping with you every time I read one of your posts! The bathroom looks great so far; looking forward to seeing your roman shade and what you do with that ceiling mounted light!

Ooooh, I like where you're going with the ceiling light! Love those sconces, thanks for the heads up. I'd like to add some in my bedroom when we get around to it. I think a pretty greek key ribbon trim would look great!
