planting wheat grass for easter

It's time...
about two weeks before Easter is perfect timing to ensure you have a thick lush
wheat grass centerpiece ~ I love the fresh bright pop and texture it adds.
I've been planting it for years and it couldn't be easier, no green thumb needed!

 (One week of growth)

A table setting from a previous year with wheat grass planted in tea cups...

Here's an outtake for you...

It was about 7pm and I was running out of light inside,
so I grabbed everything and it took it outside. My girl Rio isn't one to miss out on
anything and plopped herself between the vignette and me. Don't let that innocent
face fool you, she tried to nab that extra egg several times.

Each year I keep meaning to plant some wheat grass. Maybe this year I'll actually do it! Thanks for the inspiration. Love the photo of Rio. I'll bet that egg was very tempting to her. Yes, she does have an innocent looking face! What a sweetie.

I really love the blue and green combination on your dining table. Such a great inspiration, I had to pin.

Rio just wants to be close to you. She's a grand lady at this stage of life. I have a real soft spot for older dogs. Maybe, it's because I'm getting older myself. Lol
I must give wheat grass a try. I like it planted in cups & saucers. A good way to put all that inherited china to use.

Hi beautiful Rio! Did you give her the egg? I think she deserves it, hope it was hard boiled though. I love planting wheat grass too.
