I have to redeem myself after last night's dinner!
I made Pioneer Woman's Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, it was a first and last.
Don't get me wrong, I love Pioneer Woman and her down home cooking, but I'm not a
Biscuits and Gravy girl, ick!! I was making them for my boys, but they too decided we
shouldn't add them to the rotation, good call!
I am a vodka and cream sauce and smoked salmon girl, so we'll be dining on this tonight
while we root for our Americans.

My son is obsessed with vodka sauce noodles and I grew up on Salmon like that. My dad used to make potato pancakes with cold smoked salmon and a dill creme sauce ;) YUM

Yu picked two of my favorites here and when you combine the slices of smoked salmon with Penne Vodka its really delicious!!
I agree Pam! Pasta for me as well! If I attempted bisquits and gravy guaranteed it would be a disaster! I will take Pasta any day!!

Biscuits and gravy (sausage or Bacon) are delicious, when made correctly! Ill have to check out pioneer woman's recipe....I'm not a fan of too many of her recipes. But your pasta dish looks fabulous and its apples and oranges to compare to good old biscuits and gravy for breakfast!
I live in the south and biscuits and gravy are everywhere, but I still have yet to develop a taste for it too!
My husband loves biscuits and gravy but for breakfast only. Me no I'm with you YUCK. I did print your penne ala vodka and can't wait to try it. I also love seafood, especially fish and I know how hard it is to get good fish living in Colorado Springs! I'm just down the road from you.
With biscuits and gravy it's all in the recipe. Bad recipe equals dry biscuits with library paste. Google angel biscuits and give them a try.
I am a vodka sauce girl too and I wish I wasn't….I love my pasta & cream! Biscuits and Sausage Gravy doesn't appeal to me at all. Salmon, yes!!!!
