retro chrome chairs at pottery barn...

I predict the chrome chairs you can get for a steal on Craigslist
are about to go through the roof.
Have you seen the latest look from Pottery Barn?
The Archer Side Chair is $699.

Pottery Barn

Although I'm not a fan once everyone in the neighborhood jumps on the PB train,
although at that price my guess is not many will be jumping on!
You could create a unique look with something similar from Craigslist.
Pottery Barn gets it right pairing them with the warm, rustic wood table, IMHO :)
I'm on board for mixes like these that keep it interesting...

House Beautiful
 Canadian House and Home
westchestermagazine.com
 2.bp.blogspot.com
Architectural Digest

I just found all of these fun options on Craigslist for a song!

I'm trying to exercise my willpower,
I'd mix any of these with a wood table and upholstered head chairs for a great eclectic space.

Someone go buy them!

I had cane chairs in the 80's with chrome like those - with a big barn type table.......still wish I had it actually
The things we've gotten rid of, right?

OMG, I have been drooling over similar chairs in gold in one of my German magazines. I can't believe you found those chairs on CL. I'm convinced that our CL stinks! Boo!

I will have to show my husband this post. He was half mortified when I brought home four chrome chairs last year for our dining room.

I love your perspective, Pam. This style of chair reminds me of conference rooms, but putting them in a dining setting totally changes them up. I like the shiny chrome and white ones!

I would have thought "ugh" until I looked at your photos! Love the last group. I've seen a lot of these at the ReStore too.

I am not a fan of the modern at all. I do like certain things though and love them in others homes, but not for me. The chairs really do remind me of conference room. Ana

And one of the best things about these chairs is...they look so comfortable! They would make you want to linger around the table for some good conversation after dinner! :)

Hmmm. With so many available on CL, and other places, I'm wondering how many will pay for the PB ones? They're pretty high!

I could go for the last ones with the x base. I love your inspiration photos but I'm not a fan of the PB style. It will be interesting to see if they take off. I'm skeptical...but I'm always the last one to jump on board a new trend!
