A quick post today, because on the spur of the moment I decided
to diy an upholstered headboard for Detail Boy's room!
And, we noticed a great floor lamp on sale at Lowes,
but it needed a shade makeover, and because there are only so many hours in a day
I used my blog writing time to finish them up!

I love upholstered headboards, I can't wait to see your method! I did one for my first year out of college and I still love that thing. It's been passed on to both of my sisters and I found my self wanting it back last week! :)
Ahhh, so pretty! I'm loving upholstered headboards! Really considering selling my big wood bed and making one for my master, and one for Emily's room. Can't wait to see what you've come up with!

I can hardly contain myself today... we are going on a mini vacation later this week and this morning we awoke to simply stunning weather! Lower humidity, cloudless skies, gorgeous sunshine, and the perfect temperature... in fact it reminds me of the summers in Denver!!! :) Now I'm off to sand and paint a dresser, closet doors, and a pillow. :)
