OVERSIZED STATEMENT PIECES...
Do you have one, would you like one?
Or, do you think it's too over the top?

Huge mirror....mine.

Incredibly unique headboard! An antique that designer Cindy Rinfret found on a trip to Thailand.

I know the chalkboard paint thing has been done, but a huge draw-able wall like this would be so much fun. Especially with kids. The chalk dust would get everywhere though...

Yes, I love them too. I think the mirror in the first pic is fantastic.

Yes, yes, yes. I think statement pieces are needed in pretty much every room for impact and interest..... especially in lighting. Nothing makes me crazier than seeing lamps or light fixtures that are too small.

I love them too and I'm leaning towards using them more and more when I stage a property. I love the first photo of the huge floor mirror!

I love, love, oversized pieces. I have a couple. Mirrors and artwork are my favorite. Interestingly enough, I have been working on a similar post but have had it in draft for a while.

Focal points are perfect! I am so in love with large mirrors and the way they always make spaces look even larger than they are!

I love a big statement piece. I've been looking for a massive mirror like in the first picture that I can rest on the floor!

I love them too - my favorites here are the flowers and the large portrait. They really are statements and can be the main focal point in a room.

I love them too Pam - I have some large things, like a huge picture frame and a huge glass container but they don't really look oversized like the stuff in these photos. I haven't found just the right piece for me I guess!

How did I miss all this... I think you need one piece that is over stated. It adds some drama. Great post!
