I'm back with the simplest diy!

We ended our last week of summer vacation playing in/on Laguna Beach.
I didn't answer email, read blogs, check out Pinterest or haul my camera around trying
to get a variety of blog worthy photos, and I survived!
I only went online to get tickets for the Pageant of the Masters, have you heard of it?
It was an amazing production in an outdoor amphitheater.

The Pageant of the Masters is an annual festival held by the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach, California. The event is known for its tableaux vivants or "living pictures" in which classical and contemporary works of art are recreated by real people who are made to look nearly identical to the originals through the clever application of costumes, makeup, headdresses, lighting, props, and backdrops.

Although I survived, I was feeling a tad guilty that I had nothing for you today.
Target to the rescue! I remembered the simplest diy when we were picking up school
supplies and I noticed a package of shower curtain rings in a bin for $1.19.

Secure the hooks onto a hanger and hang in your closet!

I wasn't ready for school to start today,
but I am ready and excited to knock out some projects this week!

Welcome back Pam, we missed you! Great scarf solution! I'll take the 2nd one and the last one if you ever get tired of them. :)

Now why didn't I think of that? Love it!
We still have 2 weeks of summer vacation here on the East Coast so it's crunch time... Enjoy your week!

Glad you're back! Your boys probably thought you looked a little odd without your 3rd appendage (i.e your camera). ha! Good to know life goes on without blog worthy pics.

I am definitely doing this. My scarf collection is out of control and takes up a lot of space in my closet! Glad your back and enjoyed some time off Pam!

Welcome back Pam! I'm glad you enjoyed your break and the Pageant. I'm always amazed that the subjects are volunteers and I can't figure out how they get the children to stay so still! I am copying your scarf idea. I've been struggling with an expensive one from Container Store and think your idea is much better.

Glad you had so much fun! Not sure I could leave the camera alone but unplugging sounds rather nice!

You had a real vacation then! Fun to completely break away, good for you!

Great scarf idea for our daughter's closet in NYC (I have some built in hooks for scarfs in our closet).

We have not been to Laguna Beach, hope to one day. Another school year is here so soon(today first day back) and this one feels quite strange as it is the senior year for our youngest. Hard to imagine that we are almost empty nesters!

Good for you, unplugging for your vacation! Laguna Beach is our favorite spot and now I've got another reason to visit there, I hadn't heard of the pageant before! Great tip on the scarf organizer too!

Welcome back my friend - glad you had a great trip. Laguna sounds wonderful. And school starting already? Gosh that's crazy. With the way I'm piling up scarfs this will come in handy in our next home (I'm hoping for a walk-in closet).
