Life Lately

Hi friends, I'm so sorry I disappeared from the blogosphere for such a long
time without giving you a heads up. I can't express how much your kind emails
checking in to be sure all was well has meant, your support and encouragement
 has completely blown me away.
There are so many amazing bloggers out there I just assumed you really wouldn't
notice if I took a break, although I hadn't planned on a month.
And, I am glad you noticed. :)
One sweet reader said she hoped I was enjoying Europe or Hawaii,
how did she guess?!!

Just kidding!
But, we did enjoy a wonderful trip to Charleston, SC for my niece's wedding.

The truth is between clients, blogging (and all that goes along with it), and Instagram
I felt like it was taking over my life. I was overwhelmed, my house was an unorganized
mess, I felt guilty for not engaging with everyone on Instagram, but I didn't want to spend
my time on social media. I wanted to go hang out with my mom and dad, take my Rio for
a walk, hold my precious new nephew for an hour (or more :) ) while he napped,
help my sweet niece with her wedding, be there for my friend going through a hard time,
and enjoy time with my boys.

I wrestled with the idea of taking off the rest of the year, but I missed you guys. I
thought of you all constantly, every time I turned around I saw something I could
 share with you!

So, I'm back sort of  :) we have company coming soon and I'll be taking
some time off to spend with them.
Thank you all for reading my little blog, you're truly the BEST!

xoxo,
Pam

Btw, that girl in the photo isn't me, in case you were wondering. :)

Sooo happy to see you pop up on my feed this morning....I've missed you! No apologies needed, your personal life comes first. How some bloggers post almost every day I'll never know....I hope they aren't missing out on time with their families they can never get back...just my two cents!

I think your "fans" will be here whenever you get back, take time to enjoy your family and friends, they are so important in life.

I'm just glad your not gone from blogging Pam! We did miss your post, but totally get why you had to get away. Not having a big life changing dilemma in your life is a big plus, we all get to that point at times, and it is definitely O.K.! Glad everything is fine with you and the family dear. Life goes on for us, but truly your talent and inspiration was missed. We'll be watching and waiting! :-)

I have missed you since you are one of my favorite bloggers; however, I knew there had to be a good reason for your absence. You really do have to spend time with your family and friends since life seems to fly-by. I'm so glad you and your family are ok.

I think it's hard for all of us, at some point! Blogging takes so much more time and energy than anyone realizes (but, of course, bloggers know just what you mean!) And then you wonder whether to just not appear, or whether to tell everyone why and where you are going or have been….. We all understand; and we all appreciate the dilemma !

Happy to see Simple Details in my feed today! We need to do what feels right for each of us. Glad to hear that all is well and your life is wonderful and busy! Blogging takes energy and is a great way to share but it also can weigh on us when not inspired or busy with other aspects of our lives. Have a wonderful weekend, Pam!

Oh my gosh...I was just thinking about you!! My husband & I drove through Denver last week & I was telling him about your crazy Craigslist skills. I mentioned to him that you hadn't posted lately & he said you probably had better stuff going on.
Happy to know you were just taking some time to yourself.

Hi sweet friend. I was beginning to wonder but I totally understand and am feeling the same way. I am not seeing much new in blogs or social media and am boycotting the amount of time it takes to keep up with it all. I do miss some friends but have shorten my blog reading to just a few. Life is too short to spend it in front of a monitor or phone so I hope you stay well and enjoy your loved ones!!! Xoxo Nancy
