Nate Berkus at my Goodwill!!

I hadn't been thrifting in a long time and needed a fix,
I popped in Goodwill for a quick cruise around the store last Saturday.

Nate is that you?? I wasn't sure, you know when you see someone
out of their usual surroundings and you question yourself for a minute...
had it been Target I wouldn't have thought twice!

Nate Berkus Round Lacquer Stud Tray, $30  @ Target here
Mine for $11, brand new with the Target tags still on.

I found a couple other treasures I couldn't pass up. To fuel my lamp addiction,
this tall base for  $6.99, I may not keep it here on the kitchen counter, just trying it out
with a black shade. I think something light and cheery for spring would work.

And these frames for $6.99 each, they need spiffed up a bit, but I loved the nice depth.
Warm woods with a great texture paired with neutrals are a favorite, they may not come out
until fall...we'll see.

I left a happy thrifter!
How about you, found any treasures lately?

I'm putting the finishing touches on the bathroom, the One Room Challenge
final reveal is Wednesday, 19 bloggers, 19 reveals ~ inspiration overload!!
 I can't wait!

Target donates their clearance items to the Goodwill out here. I have not been there in so long but I used to buy all my daughter's clothes there! She is so tall now, at nine years old, that she fits on women's clothes! I have to make clothes for her now if I want her to look like a little girl!
That lamp is beautiful!

Great finds Pam.....as I read, i thought that you were going to tell us that you actually ran into Nate at Goodwill...but that find is a second best...:)

That lamp is a great find. I haven't been thrifting in so long. I've been practicing self control until we find a house. There have been a few pieces of furniture here and there but I'm waiting - patiently :)

Hi Pam, you find the best stuff! Makes sense that Target would need a place to donate items. I actually love the lamp on the kitchen counter and the black shade is perfect for it! Did you know that separating the banana bunch into individual bananas makes them stay fresh longer? Have a great day! We are in for more crappy weather today here but we will be on a beach in 4 days! Yay!

Loving the curves of your lamp. Does Mr. Simple roll his eyes when you bring a new one home? ;)

You are a lucky one (w/ a great eye). I love the lamp base.

Wow, your eye is spot on. I don't think I would have recognized a Nate tray and I love the sexy lamp base. I'd love it for my bedroom.

Well I should think you were happy after those scores! Awesome frames and the lamp is fantastic! Love the tray, too. My sister found the one NB item I wanted the most from Target at a thrift store last month...haven't blogged about it yet! Can't wait to see the bathroom!

Love those frames, Pam! I always look through the frames, even when I don't need any at the moment. Great lamp, too. My GW doesn't seem to have much in the way of lamps. Back on Long Island, now that GW had lamps! I try to hit my GW twice a month. It seems that if I go any sooner than that I'm just seeing the same stuff from the last visit.

Haha, that's great. I have never heard of Target donating like this. I wonder if they do that in NJ?

Julia@Cuckoo4Design said...

Geesh! I can't stand seeing other people finding this amazing stuff at thrift stores anymore. LOL Just kidding, congrats on your great finds...ours have been terrible.
But I have seen Target items at our Goodwill already as well.

Which Goodwill do you go to? I never see such great finds at the Goodwill on Hampden/I-25...

I'm doing a wall of old family pictures: having them scanned and making prints, so I'm in the market for interesting frames. So now, of course, I will have to hit the thrift stores!

Lizziedee - I go to a few different locations, I found these items at 1450 S. Wadsworth in Lakewood, I also like the Glendale store, and Littleton @ Simms and Bellview - have fun!
