I was beginning to wonder what was going on with our awesome Craigslist,
a slew of big armwahs (aka armoires) and over sized reclining sectionals popped
up every time I checked in.
Persistence finally paid off last week when I scored another table with a bamboo base!
And, if that wasn't enough to make up for the lull, the sweet seller threw in another
fabulous table because she was moving and wanted it gone!
Yes, I snagged a table with a similar style a few months ago and didn't need this at all,
what can I say, it was a steal at $50 and I caved!

I love the collected look of a traditional piece paired with my more modern sofa, and the
curved top against the straight lines. It's a large side table size (30" diameter) vs a lower
coffee table, but I'm all over it unexpectedly pulled up to the front of the sofa.
This solid wood Thomasville table is in great condition, except for few scratches you
can see on the base that will be an easy fix. Big and functional with a shelf inside,
and that burl like finish...love! I think I've even got a spot for it.
And, free :)
Have you scored anything you couldn't pass up lately? :)

Pam,
Once again you remind me not to give up on CL. Some of my best pieces come along from looking when I don't need anything. I have scored some new treasures and you can't score if you don't look!

Wow, you did score and your persistence did pay off...gorgeous, gorgeous tables!!
You have the best luck ever. I have nothing to show for lately. Our CL stinks.
Haven't scored anything in a while. You continue to be the Craigslist queen :) !
Lucky, lucky, lucky you! LOVE the bamboo table-what a steal. And,who can argue with free. I'm a Craigslist junkie. I got a 52" mirror for $175 (owner paid $1,250), beautiful Bombay chest for $100, round tufted ottoman for $80, 4-poster Rice bed for $600 with delivery and set up. Too many bargains to list them all. I've met the nicest people, too. It cracks me up when they advertise a "Chesterdraws" for a Chest of Drawers--must be a Southern thang! Happy CL Hunting!
What a great find! It fits perfectly into the room. I haven't purchased anything on Craigslist yet, but I have been looking for outdoor furniture for my patio.
Lucky duck! I hate the long dry spells with CL, but when a winner pops up it's worth the persistence!
More fabulous finds- you are simply amazing! Have a great week. xo Nancy

Craigslist should sponsor your blog since you are their best advertisement in the world!! Another wonderful find!
LOVE LOVE LOVE that tray table with the bamboo base...what a beauty!! I would have snatched that up too!
Pam, amazing!! I had given up on Craigslist as I was tired of looking at ugly sofas and on and on! Super score, I love both pieces so much!

Oooh fun find!! I haven't been checking out CL lately but every once in a while I stalk it for two Chippendale armchairs. Why I have that stuck in my head as a need, I don't know. You always find amazing things my friend!
