effortless spring outfits...

This time of year my closet is looking less than inspiring, the boots and sweaters aren't
cutting it on 65 degree days and instead of being excited about pulling out my spring
wardrobe I'm feeling like it's looking a bit tired. As much as I like to buy fun, trendy
pieces it's been awhile since I've updated a few basics that I can effortlessly pull together
for a classic look.

There's nothing I like better than a stylish, effortless outfit,
here are my go-to pieces I love.

A crisp white blazer...

You can never go wrong with a classic stripe and spring coat...

A versatile black maxi and denim jacket, both are workhorses in your wardrobe,
I love her fun bag, too.

The timeless white shirt and jeans...

And for fun, these trendy printed pants are still popular,
they make the statement so putting the rest of your outfit together is easy.

What would you buy to add to your spring wardrobe?

Happy weekend, friends!!
I'm going to be working on a fun diy this weekend,
fingers crossed it's ready to share with you Monday!

All very cute looks. Now can you post about spring shoes? I am sad to say goodbye to my boots - I live in them all winter. Definitely need some cute new shoes for spring!

I was just cleaning out my closet, and thinking about some fresh new pieces. I love your suggestions. Today might be the last day of the Banana R. sale....can't remember.

Love these, and they are easy. I need a black jumpsuit to layer under things, and love the long black dress with the blue jean jacket. Ive been adding lots of color to my spring wardrobe and every time I wear a winter sweater that is "tired" I retire it to the give-away pile. Going fresh and up for a little change! Have a great weekend Pam. xo Nancy

Your post is right on time for me. I dress way too conservative. This spring/summer I decided to have a little more fun and try adding some new things to my closet. Thanks for the inspiration, Pam!

Oh don't get me started bout my tired old winter clothes! I'm so ready for something new, but the weather is so fickle it is very hard to know how to dress. Love all of these cute outfits!

Great staple pieces! I have a red and a black blazer, need to hunt down a white one! Did you see Pinterest Told Me To today? All about maxi dresses and jean jackets! :)

I need to do a few updates to my wardrobe too. Not really looking forward to it - I've just been getting by for a couple years now picking up a new item here and there but it's time to clean out the closet and rethink some things!

I'm thinking I need a white blazer now - would be such a great piece for the summer, especially considering I'm always cold when a/c is running. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love them all but my favorite is the striped dress. I think I will never grow tired of it!

Love the outfits. I went shopping the other day and tried my hardest to look through sale racks of the incredibly cheap winter clothes. I just couldn't buy anything. I have moved on to spring and that is all I want to see now! Even though it is still chilly here, I want spring spring spring!
